I'm currently using cartos and tanks and pretty happy with it, it works out for me, the flavor is nowhere near as good as dripping but I honestly can't imagine dealing with the hassle of dripping on a regular basis, I just wind up with this oily layer of gunk all over my fingertips which then ends up all over my keyboards, phones, everything else I touch, you get the idea, I don't do construction for a living I sit in front of a computer screen most of the time and dripping is a non-starter.

I am buying a Strata the minute it is available and I hope that's soon, but back in the real world I am thinking that it's going to be a miracle if we can buy it before 2013. Maybe there will be a nice surprise in Dec in time for Christmas but I'm honestly not expecting it (please, please make me wrong Super Dave!).

Anyway, reading through here and the MindVox list which are the only two places I know of where there is a collection of a lot of people using Super T & Precise, I'm down to a short list of rebuildables that work well with the P+18650.

- GG Odysseus - Only place to get GG products is from COV in the US and they are sold out until (whenever).
- GG Penelope - see above.
- Hellfire mini - can't find this actually anywhere.

Which leaves only one rebuildable that gets high ratings and seems to actually be available to, ya know, order and buy right now.

The DID. OhMyGod, I can... load up the web-site, add it to my cart, and order the product, just like with most other things on planet Earth. What are the odds? Amazing! The "DID"

Is this a reasonable starting point when connected to a un-kicked 18650 P+ ? (I have the Kick, it is just not working out for me at all, way more hassle then it's worth in my personal opinion and experience and I find myself just reaching for the ProVari and giving up on it, and the ProVari is my 3rd favorite APV, behind Super T and GG, which says a lot right there).

Is there some other rebuildable I should look into which is actually for sale somewhere? I know the Z-Atty also gets raves from people, but that's also the one that seems to leak all over everything when placed on its' side and it lives in the same class as everything else but the DID, which is Hurry Up and Wait Forever.

As strange as it sounds, I would like to buy a product that is available for sale and may improve my enjoyment of e-cigs, not join a cult or wait in line for half a year  The DID appears to be the only thing in this category at the present time. Is there anything else I am missing?

As long as you have some patience, there's nothing you're missing other than clicking the button to complete you order.. :2cool:

If you're not terribly familiar with genesis style atty's, I'd do some reading, there's a pretty comprehensive thread on the DID's here on ECF. Once you get the set-up down, there's nothing better than the genesis (SS wick & kanthal coil).

There are nuances between the various manufacturers, but based on availability / price, you won't be disappointed IMHO..

@Vapor2112 could you please point me in the direction of the extended DID convo/faq? I'm not finding it, "DID" just calls up 10 billion results and DID + genesis + rebuildable is not doing it :(

Edit: Whoah ok, nevermind, google just worked out for me for searching ECF... only 700 pages to read in that thread ;)

@VapRon that's a really cute puppy :) Is he a GSD or a Malinois? I've had the former, currently have the latter, they are pretty awesome :) :) So far as the Kick goes, I'm glad it's working out for you. I may revisit it someday, but it just lives in a drawer atm. Perhaps I lack the motivation to Become One with The Kick, and truly love it, so it loves me back.

@Scottinboca tnx! strong affirmative there..

Last Edit: Ok, pulled the trigger and ordered a satin and polished & a mini + bunch of spare parts. That many people in the DID thread can't all be wrong, if I wind up hating them, I guess i can always sell them.

Final edit, reading my post time and this edit time, it took me 3 hours to convince myself that this is a good idea. There's a lot to absorb there, but my overall original impression that the DID is the best thing out there that's for sale right now, seems to be correct.

Sorry for not linking for you, I was on tapatalk.. But glad you found it. There's a wealth of information in there.

You'll be amazed by the flavor / vapor produced by a good genesis atty compared to even dripping..

Beyond the initial set-up, another tip for you... Slow down vaping or drop your nic level. Nic delivery through these is MUCH better than anything you've likely been using before.

If you need any help at all with set-up when you get this, feel free to drop a PM, and don't hesitate to post in that thread either, lots of helpful people in there. If you're disappointed in any way once you set it up, its probably not set-up quite right.. :2cool:

Congrats on the purchase!

In the interest of being semi-complete:

I pulled the trigger on 3 DiDs, apparently right before they shut down their store for a few days. Then I have an Ody moving in my direction thanks to the kind advice of someone whose name starts with a "V" and has 3 of everything, since I already have the GGTS anyway and... the number of tops for my p+18s to wear seems to be growing by the day.

There's also the bliss: Elite Vaporworks The bliSS Rebuildable Atomizer - IN STOCK - Rebuildable Atomizers and Supplies

and apparently Phiniac is going to start stocking the Cobra rebuildable.

Ok, there went $1K. Oh well, I obviously need all of them, just to make a reasonable decision. And probably I'll need at least 5 of the 25 new Genesis attys that look like they're starting to rain down all over the place. It's for... health reasons, obviously, I'm just doing research.

I guess obtaining a rebuildable just became a lot simpler, at a very convenient time for me personally.

I don't even have a single rebuildable yet, but with 4 of them moving in my direction all at once (and a 5th as soon as the Cobra is available, 6th if VPX ever gets theirs out the door), I have this funny feeling my satisfaction with cartos and tanks, is about to end.

Thanks very much to everyone who replied to my initial questions both here and in PMs!
