rebuilding atlantis coils

I just rebuilt a couple atlantis coils today. I never realized how easy it would be. Had i know this before i wouldnt have spent money on the replacements.

One i did 9 wraps of 26 gauge kanthal around a 1/8 bit. Its about 1.3ohm
The other is 8 wraps of 26 gauge around a 5/64 bit its at 1.1 ohm

Anyone have some experience with this. Im just toying with it. Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Out of curiosity, did you build vertical or horizontal?....I saw a video where the guy built a nautilus BVC coil only to see he just turned it into a horizontal coil, IHO it totally negates the design in the first place.

I did it horizontal. Im going to try vertical next.
