Need help with an EVOD rebuild

Im rebuilding my first EVOD coil. I am going to use either 32 or 26 gauge wire. I have no way to test ohms right now can anyone tell me how many wraps i will need and what to wrap around?

Wouldn't recommend doing that without some way to test the coil, what do you plan to fire it on? Will whatever you're using at least detect a short?

Ok, before I say my piece, I HIGHLY reccomend getting your hands on at the very least a multi meter!!


Now with that out of the way...

I started rebuilding my evod heads useing 6 wraps spaced of 32 gauge kanthal, getting right about 2 ohms, give or take, around a 1/16th drill bit.

Without a multimeter or an ohm meter? I hope you have a back up battery.

26 gauge is way too big for an eVod head, especially on a Spinner. Recommend 29 or 30g, but use the 32 if the 2 you mentioned are your only choices.

just as everybody else said

get the ohms meter
shoulda got it first or with coil making supplies

and 26 ga is to big to fit in the kanger bottom coil body

just be safe about what you do, buy replacement coils until
you get a full compliment of gear...
