Ok so I have watched multiple youtube videos on rebuilding the kanger T3. I am also very experienced in rebuilding CE5's. I purchased a 100 ft spool of "Tempco 32 GA Kanthal A-1 wire Annealed Round Resistance Wire." I built 5 and none of them worked. After screaming at the top of my lungs I switched and used different cheap wire that I use to build CE5. I have rebuilt 5 no problem. Did I get the wrong wire?

Kanthal is a brand/composition of wire; so no matter where you buy it, if it's labeled as Kanthal, it should all be the same. 32 gauge Kanthal A-1 is the common resistance wire for making coils in the LR to SR range. I would measure the resistance of a length of the wire in question (A-1, 32g should have ~1.2ohms/inch) with a multimeter*; there is the chance that the wire you received may have been mislabeled.

FYI: Kanger is changing the design of the T3, the new ones will be called "T3S" and feature a separate base and coil like the Evods.

* - check the 'zero' of your multimeter by touching the leads together; if you get a reading that is greater than 0, subtract this number from any actual resistance measurements.
