Rebuilding with ss mesh ?

When doing a ss wick should I go with the grain or across the grain on the wick. It is my first ss build . Just got a AGA-T in vape mail today and am really pumped to do this so any tips would be great. I've rebuilt other tanks but always with cotton wicks. i've watch utube on Gen. wrapes and have a handle on that. I have my ohm's meter and everything for rba's I just need to know about the mesh with the grain or cross the grain.

With the grain or lines vertical... At least that wicks way better for me.
