What are all the supplies I need to rebuild my atomizers? I'm using a kanger protank mini 2. If you coul provide links to sites I could buy everything at once that would be nice. Also if you could provide your favorite video explaining how to do it that'd be a plus as well. Thank you!

I get my wick stuff from CVS COTTON SQUARES $3.79 big bag (makeup section) and wire from here Resistance Wire

I hope you been holding on to the heads you got with Protank.

Google protank on UTUBE it will come up check out a few for ideas.

I use a 16 ga syringe needle with 5 turns wrapped around for 2.0 ohms for a coils then insert a small twist piece about 3/4 inch long of cotton into needle than secure the coil into the head and withdraw needle with cotton in it until I get to the point that the cotton is in the coil than cut cotton and that's it; prime wick let soak few min finish all done.

Wick gets dirty I remove it burn the coil insert the needle in the coil while its in the head and repeat above.(

Ohm meter. I'll say it again, Ohm meter!

You don't want to fly blind building coils.

Ok so you got your ohm meter that's good. Now here's what else you will need.

For Kanger PT minis you will want 30g or higher Kanthal wire bc it will be hard to hit a safe resistance that will fit in the cool head.

My builds I use 2mm ekowool. I'm in the minority but I don't like cotton. Some build with 3mm but 2mm works fine for me.

I don't bother building micro coils on kanger heads. It's just not really necessary IMO.

All I do is take a 1-2" piece of ekowool, shove a needle down the center, take about 4" of Kanthal wire, wrap it 7 times around the wick and needle, plop the assembly into the coil head, one lead outside the gasket / one lead inside, plug in the metal piece, clip the excess wire, pull the needle, measure the resistance (usually spot on 1.78 ohms).

That's it. It's actually a lot easier and quicker to do than it is to explain it.

    Tools I use:
Micro screwdrivers (to wrap coils on) http://www.walmart.com/ip/Stanley-Hand-Tools-66-052-6-Piece-Precision-Screwdriver-Set/19901177
Torch lighter (to heat wire before wrapping to take "springiness" out)
    fingernail clippers (to cut wire)
32 gauge Kanathal a-1 wire (30 gauge works good too!)
Sterile cotton balls from the first aid section (for wick)
MVP2 to check Ohms (very important to check Ohms! use an Ohm checker, mod or multi-meter)
"Vaper's Toolbox" android app (incredible free app on Google play made by a member here: ScottP! It is awesome and takes the guess work out of how many wraps to get the resistance you want!)

I use a 1.4mm screwdriver to make a 7 wrap 32 gauge microcoil (2.3 Ohms). Wick it with cotton and it looks like this...

Father is a mechanic so I have an ohm reader. I ordered 50ft of kanthal a1 30 gauge wire for $3.75! I was wondering what the vapor production on that is like? Is it better than the stock heads?

Good choice on 30 gauge wire. Far as vapor production all depends on what you comparing it to but Protank is a bottom coil (no more dry hits) good choice to start out rebuilding with gives a nice vape experience keep in mind everything has a learning curve don't get mad at yourself or the tank biggest mistake made is not priming the wick and letting it soak in with juice. Five pack of extra heads and your set for a long time. I'm very happy with Protank1 & 2 I use. I like the easy of re-wicking and making coils.

Enjoy the experience can't say it - it's a learning curve.
