what do you mean by "flavor wick"?

No moil (spelling) required. I just use toe nail clippers and trim off the very edge of the gromme where it's burnt.

Oh and the flavor wicks are the loose wicks the lay on top of the coil.

I think he means the little rubber cap on top of the post, just trim a little, some also do this to allow more juice to flow into the wick holes.

In the atomizer there is one large wick wrapped in wire, usually 2mm then two 1mm flavor wicks are laid on top of this.

I use 3mm silica wick, wrapped 4 times with 32 gauge Kanthal wire (1.7-2.0ohms), no flavor wicks=intense flavor and a warmer vape.
