Rec'd Davide Tank- mystery part question

I received my Davide tank today...
There is a mystery 8th part not mentioned on videos I've watched or on the packaging.
I am 'assuming' it is some sort of adapter for non-standard 510 devices..... maybe!? But still cant't figure out how it would be used / attached.

Anyone with some insight would be appreciated.
see item on right in pic, next to assembled tank. (there are internal threads on the part)

Its a conical beauty ring used on ego batteries to improve the look, similar to this but with the Davide, not a protank.

Since I don't have any Egos..... explains why it was mysterious to me.

I think it is called a Plinth

it does add to the look, but I believe the main purpose is
to act as support for the large tank on the small 510 threads where needed

when 1st released many reports of them cracking at that spot
