I'd like to say a quick thanks to all who've posted in this forum. I'm about a day or so away from pulling the trigger on the Vamo. You folks have been wonderful describing all of it.

... Make sure to get a good charger and at least 1 18350 battery. 18350 battery mode is so handy it really makes the device so much shorter.
Yep I normally use the 18650 mode but if I want to shorten my device I throw in a 18350. I'm not sure why everyone doesnt have a VAMO its so good. How does a Provari compare to a VAMO? I just ordered a chi clone from fasttech today to complete my collection. If a provari is really worth the money I want to get the provari stealth edition, that thing is bad ....

Truth be told, there are more Vamos out there and in use than ProVaris. This isn't saying the Vamo is better than a ProVari, just that it is reasonably priced for the masses and a solid device.
Does anyone know what batteries with the highest mah can be used with the VAMO V3?
Highest capacity (mAh) 18650 available as of today is made by Panasonic and is 3400 mAh.
NCR18650B with a 2C discharge rate
I have two provaris. A v1 that got upgraded to v2 and a factory sent v2. I've started having battery issues with both of them and one is only 6 months old. Just pulled the trigger on a v3 package from fast tech. Honestly other than the super solid feel I don't know what the hype is on the provaris. The two I have are vv only and each was over 200 bucks when adding batteries!
