Receiving a new eGo-T questions

I am expecting in the next few days my eGo-T

I have never Vaped before, this is where I am starting at.

I am seeing nibbles about a subject that I am having a little difficulty finding an answer to.

I know I am supposed to charge the batteries first ( at least one of them anyway )

What else do I need to do to prep it?

Should I clean it first? How?

Should I rinse out the tanks?

Blow the Atty? ( this is starting to sound bad )


What prep should I take? Should I first use pure VG of PG? and where do I get that other than these mail order places?

Or do I go straight to the e-juice I ordered?

I don't have the tank but I just watched a video of someone that does have it and he said he cleaned it out with some VG because it had an odd taste when he got it. You can get a bottle of PG at Walmart for about $2.50.

I'll try to find the video for you. Maybe someone here can be a little more helpful.

Thanks... I also ( finally ) found the library here.... tons of information on just about every question I had.

so I need to get some pure unflavored juice to have around, and available at the drug store

you can often get VG (sometimes labeled simply as "glycerine) at drugstores like walmart or at craft stores near the cake decorating stuff or baking supply places. It's other use is in skin care and cake decorating.

you can get PG at feed 'n' seed places by the gallon for CHEAP. It's other use is with sheep and horses.

...so look for skin care, cake decorating, and livestock stuff and sometimes you'll find one or the other.

Hi Astronomer.
May be a repetition of what's in the video's (haven't seen them), but here you go (a "cut" from something I wrote earlier today):


The "tank" is a good piece of equipment btw - even for starters.
But with manual batteries.
Make sure that the tank hole is fully broken. And in use -if the vape/flavour diminishes, blow back and forth a couple of times without activating the battery.
And remember to blow out the atomizer before use. (from the battery end, blow strongly over a napkin. You will see fluid coming out. This fluid (manufactory primer) is NOT good for vaping). Blow until no more comes out.
Put 2 drops of juice directly to the atomizer hole and engage the battery in 2-3 second bursts 2-3 times (without the tank in place).
Then start vaping with caution (no inhale) until vape looks like smoke and try a little inhale. If taste is now good - VAPE ON. Else, repeat initial procedure(s) some more.


It is not needed to have "pure unflavoured juice" before starting - but it won't hurt either. Before you know, you'll find a use for it...
