no, not bad at all. they have no memory effect. charge as much and when you like.
It's also not bad to charge cell phone batteries before they completely drain. They are both lithium ion cell batteries, and as Doots says, there is no memory effect. I don't think they sell those rechargeables with the memory effect for much of anything anymore.
Actually, I've read you are better off trying not to let the battery drain all the way all the time. Use a couple of batteries and switch them out of the charger relatively regularly before they fully drain.
