thanks for the responses! not sure i made myself clear about my problem lol i have a usb charger...that i can either plug into the usb port on my computer which when i look up the properties is rated at 500 mA. I also have a usb port that plugs into the wall outlet that is rated at 1A (also have a cigarette lighter car usb port that's rated the same). my question is whether i will get faster charge on my computer or plugged into wall. and i am asking for when i run down my battery down to blinking lights and all...b/c otherwise i dont care how long it takes but if i cant vape at this moment...i want to know how long i gotta wait!...in a nutshell lol

The computer USB should be fine for charging slim ecig batteries as long as your computer is on and it does not turn off USB when the PC is idle. Computer USB is not fine for passthroughs because most need 1 full amp or more (some people have burned out USB ports). And fat battery ecigs should use their own chargers to charge in a reasonable amount of time.

It really depends on the OUTPUT ma of the charger, not the rated ooutput of where it is plugged in. However if the charger output is more than the rated output of the outlet you plug it into then there would be a difference. ie....if your computer is rated 500ma, charger is 750 output, and wall adapter is 1a (1000ma) then the wall charger will be faster. if the output of the charger is 450ma then there will be no difference since both power sources are above the rated output of the charger.

You DO NOT want to use a charger on any power source that is rated for less ma than the output of the charger. Your power source may be damaged.

I have a KR808 battery pass-through that I bought from V2Cigs (now I know it was overpriced), however it will NOT work at all with a wall outlet. I plug the USP into the Wall outlet (used the same for charging the V4L batteries) and nothing happens. It will not work at all. I've been using it with my desktop for months and have never had a problem with it. Maybe direct pass-throughs (forgive the noobness - but the pass-throughs w/o an inline battery attached) may be made to use household A/C - I don't know anything about them, only seen a few, but the inline battery ones sold from V4L and such seem to only work with a computer or car adapter.

On a side note, I bought an awesome 2 plug USB car adapter from Walgreens for like 7 bucks that charges my cell phone and lets me vape with a pass-through!

This is correct. PC USB doesnt always give you 2 amp for a PT. You will eventually fry ur port. I purchased a adjustable amerage UCB/AC wall plug, squid.. I have 3 chargers going AND my PT and still have a port left on my squid. It was only 18.00 bucks at walmart.
