You might want to plug "pear, honeydew, cantaloupe" into the search box in each of these two threads and limit the search to "this thread only":

I'm not either just thinking about what creams would click with the pear. . Just thinking out loud I guess..lol
Bavarian cream and pear would do nicely together. I just mainly don't care for BC because for me it always requires a steep. It's not horrible by any means but I definitely prefer TFA whipped cream. The flavor is more pronounced and it's good right away.

I've got my staple of recipes that I make all the time but I want to do something good with a couple flavors that I've not messed with.. tfa pear tfa honeydew and cap cantaloupe. .. Any ideas?

No recipe suggestions. But a small FYI that I learned about flavors like Pear.

If you want to make a Strawberry/Pear, where the Pear is more of a supporting Flavor. You need to use a Whole Lot More Pear than Strawberry.

Even if you want a Strawberry/Pear where there is just a Hint of Pear. You Need Much More Pear than you would think.

It's kinda Counter Intuitive. Because you would think that it would be something like 5 Parts Strawberry and 1 Part Pear. But it's Not. It's the Direct Opposite.

Thanks for teaching a newb how to properly search.. I really appreciate it!!
No worries; glad to help. As a fellow OCDer; I have always wished that there was more of a "How To ECF" kind of tutorial for newly initiated. I guess the creators figured everyone was already versed in the ways of navigating forums. That wasn't the case (at least for me... ECF was my first). It was only through fumbling around, and the occasional tip from another member, that I began to figure it out. 2 years later, and I am sure there are still more tricks I DON'T know, than the ones I do.

Don't ever be shy about asking; there are plenty of good folks here that are more than happy to help. If you don't want to ask in a public forum you can always "start a conversation" (your Inbox w/the envelope symbol found in the top right corner of every page) which is a way to have a private conversation (or "PM"/private message) that only you, and the other(s) you designate, can read.:D
