ahhhhh, I almost ordered cucumber. Does anybody use it? Curious......

I don't remember why I bought cucumber. Now it's just sitting on a shelf gathering dust. Haven't come across many recipes that use it

TFA will say DX if it is a previously diketone but now not...
True that TPA/TFA has used the "DX" to note that it is a Acetoin, Acetyl Propionyl, Diketone "free version" of one of their earlier offerings containing one, or more of said ingredients; but it is not all inclusive (and one of my minor pet peeves with TFA). It appears, that in their earliest efforts they renamed instead of using the "DX" notation. Here are just a couple I remembered off the top of my head:
French Vanilla (contains A,AP,D) was reformulated as a "free" version and called French Vanilla II.
French Vanilla Deluxe (contains A,AP,D) was reformulated as a "free" version and called French Vanilla Creme.

I seem to recall a handful of others but can't recall them right now. When in doubt; go to TFA's website and look at the flavor in question. They are very public with what is in their individual flavor concentrates (which I give them a big "Atta Boy" for:thumbs:).

Also, these are not replacements but alternatives, as the original versions remain available too. :)

Might be a good idea to provide a link and a synopsis, rather than just a plain old copy and paste. The way it reads, it looks like you're with the company. ;)

Sorry about that... :( I did include a link to the website though. I get all my flavors from these guys and have been very satisfied. Might be a chance to pick up those flavors you've been wanting... :D

I gotta give a shout out to my fellow Carolinian, @dobroeutro !
Not much of a cheesecake lover, but I will vape it. Used to order a blueberry cheesecake from Highbrow that I really liked.
A couple of weeks ago dobroeutro a I exchanged a few PM's where I was asking about his cheesecake flavors. He prefers the New York Cheesecake and Graham Cracker from CAP, but I don't have the CAP Graham Cracker. So I followed a few of his suggestions, and came up with ;

Cheesecake Graham Crust (TFA) - 4%
New York Cheesecake (CAP) - 2%
Vanilla Swirl (TFA) - 2%
Marshmallow (TFA) - 1%

and then I added Blueberry Extra (TFA) -3% and Blueberry Jam (CAP) -2%. Then I let it steep for a two weeks.

At first vape I thought 'too much blueberry', but as the flavor and my taste buds settle in I am really liking this one. Using a Reos VV Grand and a Chalice III, this is just like the flavor I used to purchase from Highbrow.
Thanks, dobroeutro !

Next time I might drop the Blueberry Jam to 1% just to try ....

I generally keep my complimentary flavors @ 30-50% of the main profile, based on the strength of the flavorants used of course. But, I like the cheesecake to be the star. My typical mix for a Blueberry Cheesecake is:

NY Cheesecake (CAP) 6.5%
Graham Cracker (CAP) 1.5%
Blueberry Wild (TFA) 2.5%
Blueberry (CAP) 1.25%
Marshmallow (CAP/TFA) 1%
