I just bit the bullet after a long debate on which one-and-only mod to buy and ordered a blemished buzz. Unfortunately the color choice was only down to peach. I spent money I had been saving for a long time and couldn't swing the extra bit to choose a different color and the purple and black/silver blemished were gone by the time I made my choice. I hate the color peach. lol

So is there a way to sand it down to a silver or recolor a buzz? Is the peach as Polly Pocket peach or flesh toned as it looks in the photo? Does anyone have pictures of their peach buzzes?

PS: I'm REALLY excited to get this!

OMG it was weird for a second there bc you looked exactly like my ex at first glance

We are totally in the same boat, I'm waiting on my buzz too, I happened to get the last silver one when I thought there was only peach left. The peach I've heard looks good to the point that a guy could carry one without shame so I'm assuming that's a negative on the polly pocket peach? lol

that's a new one though ha ha
I'm so excited!

If you took a wire wheel to it I'm sure you could take all the paint off of it and get it down to the bare metal, but why not just spray it what ever color you want it, that would be easy enough I think, maybe take a high grit sand paper to it, put a good sand to it, then spray it your color of choice, just my $0.02

J....Anodized colors other than black have almost a candy color to them...One of the girls got one in the other day and said it wasn't peach at all but a coppery orange. She said she was very impressed with the color. Hopefully you will be too..The anodize is very durable...an excellent choice for a pv as it;s easy to clean as well....I wouldn't paint it...To quote David Lee Roth, "Everybody wants one.." So if the color revolts you sell it and get what you want....I'm betting on Love at first sight....Mines BLACK BTW.. Gonna get another soon...maybe the coppery orange "peach"....Buzz On Girl...THE BUZZ ARMY.........

I wouldn’t even try a re-anodizing of a Buzz, and I can take the electronics out and like Unibomber stuff, might as well try and plate it.
If you think KISS and look at just painting it, after roughing it up a little with sandpaper, that would work but it will fill in the nice knurling bands around the buzz to give it grip. You’ll have to paint by hand, don’t want to take a chance on getting spray paint in the pot.
Just wait, the only thing wrong with the Peach is it’s not girlie enough for some, I like it.

One guy used some small grit sand paper and removed the anodizing ( except in the knurling ) and it looked good ! ( its somewhere in the forum ) get it first then see how it goes .

Re-anodizing is a NO NO ! the electronics need to come out and they are glued in so not gonna happen . check into the wraps in the modders/suppliers forum

Just my opinion but you could easily remove the end caps and do like I was saying and use a high grit sandpaper to sand it down and then mask off the light, button, and fill the screw holes with paper, then spray it your color of choice, just make sure you mask it with tape and fill any wholes really good so nothing gets in it, spray would make it turn out nice I think, just make sure you take your time on the prep work as that is what makes all the difference in the world.

I really like the way the Buzz looks, after two Chucks I was expecting to disappointed in the final Buss’s look and feel but it I like it as much as the Chuck’s, but I like the Blue Man Group and carry a duct tape wallet so YMMV with the Buzz’s looks. Just keep it simple if you decide you want to change its color or wait till you get your 2’ent Buzz

I am aware the the Buzz is NOT the best looking mod out there but our goal ( and I think we succeeded ) was to bring out a device that would change the way we vape and that had most of the things that people were looking for built into one unit , Beauty was secondary .

Our new products will pay more attention to the LOOKS BUT will not sacrifice usability for prettiness.

Ya I;ll put a cone head on it !

between here and there
I just got my peach 'buzz' and it looks great. A light orangeish color. I like it and kinda glad its different. I already have a black riva, some silver ego pts. I don't see any pinkish in it at all. Just my 2cents.
wv

btw--Buzz-- got some batteries from another vendor(also got your email---thank you very much) and took my first hit---all I can say is triple WOW! Now that is what it is all about. Great job---well done.
