I'm glad you ordered yourself a Buzz! I also think you will be satisfied with the color as is, but you could laways sand it by hand down the the bare aluminum if it's that bad in your opinion. You are gonna be sooo happy you ordered the Buzz, I can't put mine down!

I am aware the the Buzz is NOT the best looking mod out there but our goal ( and I think we succeeded ) was to bring out a device that would change the way we vape and that had most of the things that people were looking for built into one unit , Beauty was secondary

I don't know how you can say this. My Gold Buzz is one of the most beautiful things I own. My Gold BUZZ brings a smile to my face every morning when I get out of bed! There is nothing else in this house that does that!!!! Beauty is more than skin deep. My first 15yr old boyfriend with acne taught me that many, many years ago.
