Its so subjective when recommending a new tank to someone, but I will saw that the tank you are looking at is pretty nice.
The Kanger sub tank is what I assume you are talking about has been out for a while and they just upgrade the components for the tank rather than releasing a new version (which I like). I'd recommend it so long as you make sure its the upgraded version. If you get the black or white tank its guaranteed that you will have the newest updates, for the silver model you will need to read up on it.

I have both the kanger subtank mini and the sense herkales tanks. Both tanks are very nice. The kanger subtank has the rebuildable deck if you ever want to start rebuilding yourself and the new vertical coils are nice and I can run that tank in the 20-25 watt range in the .5 ohm coils with no problem and has the bigger tank at 4.5ml. The herkales tank I use more cause it gives better flavor due to the dual vertical coils but it needs more wattage to power it. Its best between the 50-60 watt range to get best results on the .6 ohm coils but also has a smaller tank at only 3ml and drinks juice faster. Hope that helps some

Hello and welcome to the forum @ASulli0418. Glad to have you here!:)

Yes, the Kanger Subtank Mini v2 is very good. I have the v1 and it's also good but the v2 is even better. Here is a link to Sweet Vapes that sells it in black/white/stainless and you can see the specifications.

Kanger Subtank Mini V2 - Black/White/SS

Regarding coils available for this tank. There are two different types: horizontal or vertical. I haven't tried the vertical coils but many people report they are great. Here are Kanger's recommend wattage ranges for each of their coils. However, you don't have to run them this low/high. That is something you will have to determine for yourself. The PG/VG ratio of your juice, how much airflow you are using, the flavor of the juice you are vaping all come into play.

Horizontal OCC Coils
0.5 Ω coils have an operating range of 15 watts to 30 watts.
1.2 Ω coils have an operating range of 12 watts to 25 watts.

Vertical OCC Coils
0.5Ω coils have an operating range of 15 watts to 60 watts
1.2Ω coils have an operating range of 10 watts to 26 watts
1.5Ω coils have an operating range of 10 watts to 26 watts

The Herakles is a poor recommendation for the OP. He's got a 30W mod and that tank really doesn't work well until you're running at least 50W.

And loads of people here are recommending the Subtank without even bothering to notice the OP's current tank. He's a mouth-to-lung hitter, and the Subtank isn't even close to the best mouth-to-lung tank out there.

I would recommend an Aspire Nautilus for the OPs current vaping style, or at least make it clear that he's going to need to switch to straight lung hits to really get anything enjoyable from the Subtank. The Nautilus with a 1.6ohm coil at 13-15W should work great for him. Also make sure the OP knows that he's going to consume about 30% more juice with the Subtank than the Nautilus.

Have the Subtank Mini. It is a great tank, but its a bit to airy for me much of the time. I seem to like a tighter draw for my all-day device, so I recently picked up an Aspire Nautilus Mini, which goes from really tight to still pretty tight. Works great for mouth to lung hits that I miss when I'm using my other tanks.

So ... it does kinda depend on what you are looking for in a tank.

I use the latest subtank mini revision for MTL and it performs very well in that role. I use the rba deck but there are 1.5ohm vertical occ coils for it now that work very well and could easily give the OP what he is looking for (as well as the rba deck for future experimentation).
