Hi all,
i'm looking fora new mech mod. I like the side or pinkie style buttons, not a fan of botom buttons. I'd like it to have very little voltage drop at the 1 to sub 1ohm range.

gg-beautiful, but hard to get, and erratic production schedules
69-cool
EA- not so much
poldiac- i heard they can be configured to be pinkie style i'm not sure

are there any i forgot or what would you recomend.

69 is a hard hitter...hits harder with brass kit..button can be placed top or bottom...very easy to change....poldiac needs delrin and an extra cup and spring to change button position, cannot be done on the go like the 69...gg is an incredible device...ss still available

The poldiac can have the button put in the pinky position, and includes everything you need to do so when you buy it... It's not the easiest conversion in the world, and there are no instructions included to tell you how to do it. There are some YouTube videos that outline the process though. It's a bit tedious... Also, because the button is offset in the control head, while you can flip the button around so the writing is right side up, you have to put the shirt on upside down, so the Metal Madness Vapor logo is upside down on the opposite side of the button.

I didn't mind it at all being at the top though, so never bothered changing it. If you can find a Poldiac, they are fantastic...

I know,I know, but gg is expensive, and I know not buy much I just have a mental line in the sand about it.....I like the look of the just gg with the telescope, and everybody that owns them says good things about them.

What's the voltage drop like with the ss 69.

69 is a fantastic hard hitting beast....very convenient in being able to change switch positions on the go....i recommend the brass kit with it....has less voltage drop with it...
i would NOT hesitate to pick up a GG....its one of the FINEST quality mods on the market. period.

thanks dude for keyimg me in on that. I love the look, but not at the price of performance especially as how i like to vape between .9and1.2 ohms...the 69 is looking better now.
The GG is actually one of the most under performing mods on the market ... especially at the price.

Don't get me wrong, it's a great looking piece of vapeware and it will get the job done. But it also has one of the highest voltage drops on low and mid ohm loads on the market.

No Problem!
The 69 has very little voltage drop. The difference between the 69 and the GGTS is nearly half a volt.

Granted, not every device is 100% machined the same, thus conductivity is not always the same. But it's pretty accurate and gives you a ball park. That poster is doing voltage drop test the BEST way possible. (Limiting the outside variables such as battery resistance)
