Recommend a first vape?

Hello fellow E-cig users! I want to get into vaping to try and get rid of all of my bad smoking habits. I want to start out with an amazing device, that is very high quality. I do not want to be buying a new device every week as I get more experienced, just one good one. Does anyone have any recommendations for a starter? I have NO knowledge with e-cigs. All I know about is the juice, as I watched many videos to introduce e-cigarettes and all that I could keep in my brain was the info on the juice. I was looking at a iTaste MVP 2.0, and read multiple reviews. People say its amazing, its just I do not want to be lugging that giant thing around! Especially since I will have it in my pocket, it probably will rarely fit as I am always wearing basketball shorts. Does anyone have any recommendations for a good starter, but high quality, device I can get? I have NO price range, and want to produce as much vape as possible (you know, gotta look cool while doing this atleast ;D). Throat hit doesn't matter to much to me, I just want a good tasting alternative to cigarettes. Thank you forum members!

Just getting off the stinkies means that whatever device you use will be in your hand more then in your pocket. I would suggect you rethinking the MVP V2.
The chances you take with putting any device in your pocket
Snapping off the the 510 connector on those style tanks.
Cracking plastic tanks and juice leaking
Pulling the top loose on a ego style battery.
The fire button getting pressed and you coil accidentally doing a dry burn in your pocket.

Been there done that.
Remembering when I smoked
I had lighter and smokes and usually carried the smokes because I keep crushing the pack in my pants/shorts pockets.

Just my recommendation.

Hello, I would have to say the MVP 2 is going to be your best option.... good balance between size and performance and quality. I would also recommend a Protank2 with air control base, this will give you a good vape and decent flavor... not outstanding, but I haven't found and "beginner" atty that was. The second reason I recommend the Protank 2 is because a lot of people start getting into rebuilding using these... it's a nice and simple single coil, and since it's replaceable you can still use the unit using one coil while learning to rebuild another. I would also tell you to check out the mini provari, I can't comment on this from personal use, but many people I've talked to are happy with it.... and it's smaller size might suit you. My last recommendations would be for when you learn how to make coils and build.... I love Kayfuns, and similarly to that, I am waiting on a Fogger v4 in the mail. I find these easy to build, good build quality and fair price (Hcigar and EHpro). Once you know your preferred wattage, I'd say go with a mechanical.... kicked or not. These tend to be smaller than VV/VW devices.... I use the K100 all day and a Caravela at home(both kicked).

No matter what you buy now, you'll be constantly looking at the next best thing. Every time I've upgraded, I ended up running into someone with something a little more advanced and saying "wait. You mean it can be better?". That being said, your absolute best bet, IMO, is the previously mentioned MVP 2. It will take a good while to out grow its capabilities, and its very VERY reasonably priced... no, its a down right steal. I was talking to a guy today that's been using his a very long time. He goes a few DAYS between recharging, and if he happens to get bored, he just buys the latest "it" tank and adjusts his settings and then goes.

As most people have said I cannot recommend the MVP enough! The 2600mah battery lasted me days and the included iClear 30 that came with mine wasn't too bad! I like my friend's Nautilus alot for a non-rebuildable tank and I hear the new BVC's for them are really great. The iTaste VV v3 is similar in functionality to the MVP, but smaller. As such, it only sports an 800mah battery and won't have the greatest battery life. I don't think you can go wrong with either! Vape on friends!

Kanger EVOD Starter Kit - Vapor Foundry

Just picked that up last week after about a month of research.. Cant beat it, and I dont really see myself moving 'up' to anything anytime soon.
Thats the cheapest youll find a GENUINE Kanger too, most places are about double that, and god help you if you go into a local store (they sell them for $70 out here).. After a weeks use I can say its pretty awesome for a 'first timer'. My batteries last a full 24 hours or so, only takes a couple of hours to charge em up. Lotsa extra coils (take care of em and theyll last quite awhile), and the ones that came with mine are all rebuildable (Ive heard the newer ones arent??).
At that price I was worried about whether it was actually a legit Kanger or not, but my box had the little scratch off code on the bottom I verified at Kanger Techs website so all is good. To top it off, Vapor Foundry has alot of stores beat on hardware prices.. Havent ordered liquid from em though cause their selection seemed rather limited as to the nic strengths they had in stock last week when I ordered.. Probably picking up a Protank 2 from em next month..

good call. this is what i suggest to all new vapers. a lady friend of mine was frustrated with clearo's and found these and has been vaping them ever since (over a year) even though i gave her a VV/VW device and she still uses the evod tanks on this while she is charging.... impressive testimonial in my opinion. can't get her to do the high end mech's and RDA's tho.

The MVP looks big on the web but it's not that big in real life. DSCF0052.jpgDSCF0053.jpg(Ignore that tape that's holding the skin down around the screen)

I have to chime in again... After re-reading the OP's 1st post, they mentioned the MVP was a huge box and didn't want to carry it around. Actually it's VERY small... It fits inside my wifes' hand completely. And she has small hands. Unless you've held it, it is much smaller than it looks. It also fits very well in my pocket! Just my :2c:.

I suggest getting a vv/vw device off the bat. Wether it be ego or apv. Even if you keep it set at 3.2 the entire first month, eventually you will want to adjust your vape to your likings and better to have it ready then to have to go buy that after (unless you order online ,egos get expensive in b&ms lol)
Personaly id recommended
Box: mvp
Tube: high end- provari, economical cost svd or say vamo/sid or itaste vv/vw 3.
But nothing wrong with a vision spinner or smok winder for your ego styles.
