Recommend a good clearomizer for 100% VG?

I am currently using Vision eGo Transparent Clearomizer V2 for 510/eGo, 1.8-2.0 ohm with a KGO.

They're OKAY but not great. I get dry vapes and find that it is hard to "drag" on it sometimes. Just yesterday I started to get a mild burnt taste and saw that the eliquid was discolored. I thought that I burned the thing out, but it seems okay now after refilling (should I be worried about that?).

I am using 100% VG from Virgin Vapor which is actually quite thinner than most. But I want something clear that eliminates the guesswork but perhaps performs better than these. Whether it's a carto or a clearo idc - still quite new to all this. Also would like something that lasts for awhile. Can anyone make some recommendations? Thanks!

I have been trying out these for about 2 weeks.

Kanger 2ohm EgO Clear'o'mizer

I am finding that they do not discolor my juice the way the stardust does, which is good. I like that they have no wicks and are bottom fed. But they are a wee bit leaky at the battery connection and can get gurgerly. Not a show stoper for me though.

Thanks for that suggestion. Why does the stardust discolor the juice? Is that a sign that something is wrong or it happens with all of 'em? I thought mine burnt out or something for awhile there but it still seems to be working. Also, do you use these Kangers with 100% VG at all?

Any other suggestions welcome.

Vivi Nova comes with 1.8, 2.4 and 2.8ohm heads. The only setup needed is to decide on what resistance head you want to use. Many great reviews of it here, particularly version 2.0 and 2.5. Quickly becoming a very popular clearo.

And is the Vivi a tank or a clearo? From what I can glean it has a cartomizer in it instead of that wick setup in the stardusts?

I can only surmise based on what I read here, that some aspects of the VN are better than the Stardust (which I have not used myself). I do not see any reports of dry hits, burning on the latest VN's, but I read dry, burnt hit complaints about Stardusts frequently. I have never had a dry, burnt hit on the VN. They wick very well. Sometimes I do believe they mute the flavor, but, I came from carto/tanks and the flavor from the VN is so much cleaner I vastly prefer it. Describing flavor and taste is kind of tough as it is subjective and has to be compared with something else.

Thank you, this is what I wanted to know. I see they are kinda expensive and wanna know a bit more before trying. On many of these video reviews these people are doing things to them, like modifying the wicks, poking the vents with toothpicks etc. I just want something that works and wicks better than the Stardust especially if I am gonna be using 100% VG (again thinned out a bit).

And it should work fine on a KGO right? How long do they last btw?

Will work fine on the kgo, they will last a long time as long as you maintain them as with all hardware. With replaceable atties you can buy a new one for what, 3 dollars or so and you are good to go again with your vivi nova. If you want a more clean appearance on the kgo I'd suggest getting the thread cover as well, the wider one for a large size tank the narrow one for a smaller size tank.

Absolutely. Kgo is 3.7V. VN comes with three different heads/resistances. You'll definitely find a resistance or two the suit you best. You can then by replacement heads for about $2.50 or so making the VN cheap to keep. I have one head going for over two weeks now and is working as good as day one. Big plus is that you can rebuild the heads yourself for pennies, if you are so inclined.
