I know there's lots of threads about batteries but I just want to know what to use in my mod. I am looking to replace an aspire icr and an efest which I don't trust after reading so much about them. I am not worried about cost. I have a pegasus mini 50 w tc with a triton 2 tank I am only using the temp control .5 nickel coil because I like the vape better. I usually vape at 450 and under but it says it can go up to 600. In wattage mode, I use the aspire Atlantis 2 and the Kangar nano with .5 vertical coil. I rarely vape over 30w. Which battery would best suit my needs? I want something that will last longer but safety is the most important.

Any battery with a 20A CDR (or higher) will work for you. The highest mAh 20A batteries are these two.
  • LG HG2 3000 mAh 20A CDR
  • Samsung 30Q 3000 mAh 20A CDR
The mAh stands for milli-Ampere-hours and indicates how much electric charge the battery can provide. The higher the mAh, the longer your battery will last before it needs charging.

as usual, lol, Susan is spot on - for the range (ohm-wise) you are talking about in a single battery mod, either of these would be ideal :)

Whatever you choose NEVER buy batteries off Ebay etc..... ALWAYS buy from a reputable and certified supplier . A pair of authentic's should cost no more than $13.00 , batteries are one item to never cheap out on.
Excellent advise.

Only buy batteries from a reputable supplier (not ebay or Amazon) as there are many counterfeit batteries being sold. Here are several reputable battery suppliers in the US.
EDIT: tagging @Ryedan (he's from Canada) and would know of a reputable Canadian supplier of batteries.

Samsung 25r or Lg He4. As long as you stay above .22 ohms.

Hi and welcome. You're getting great advice, so I won't muddy the water. I normally use a battery you have not been recommended, but I recently bought a pair of RX200s and I snagged a dozen LG HG2s for them. I can vouch for them as well. And my gal uses the Samsung 25Rs in her rig, those are also great.

The tc nickel coil is .15 ohm. I just ordered a couple of the lg hg2. I vape at about 400-450. This battery can handle that right?
Any of the batteries named-- any battery rated 20 amps CDR-- will do fine. With a regulated mod, what counts is the wattage you set. Yours is a 50 watt mod. At 50 watts, and assuming your mod will kick out batteries as "discharged" at 3.2 volts, they will be drawing 15 amps. All and any of the Samsung or LG parts named will be great.

you can buy batteries from ebay. just make sure it's a trusted seller. i got a few sets of LG HE4 and Samsung 25r's from ebay and they've been working great since last June.

the batteries can definitely handle what you have posted. you're also using a regulated device, so it should shut off before anything crazy happens.

.15ohm @ 40watts is drawing 18.26Amps. well within the range of those batteries.

this is the tool i've been using. very helpful.

Ohm's law
