Just put the coil wires in the center post and just one of the outside posts. Your atty should just have one airhole exposed....right by the coil. An Atomic clone would work.....Stillare clone has bigger holes and a larger deck with adjustable air control....I hear the Smoktech Caterpillar is good single coil...there are a few...

Meh, the IGO-W post holes are too low to make building simple, and the IGO-L needs the builder to trap wires under screws.

The Stillare clone has higher post holes but no way to shut off the secondary air inlet. Not that you couldn't build it single coil, it just isn't made for that.

The Stillare v2i has single coil capability but it's going to set you back Cartel Mods - Stillare V2i RDA – localvape $120.00 or so being as it has yet to be cloned to the best of my knowledge.

If you are good with a dremel you could slot a third hole in the inner barrel of the top cap.

I drip on an EHpro atomic clone with a single coil. Easy to build, I get a 1.4 ohm using a 1/16 drill bit. I'll put the chart below. It gives huge clouds and great flavor, and can be used on a regulated mod like an MVP or a vamo, but can also be built with a dual coil to sub-ohm. And you can buy them for under $30. Love it!

For $12.50, the Smok Caterpillar is a great RDA. Easy to build on and solid. However it has airflow holes, 5 on each side, that you can't close off on one side. So it is a good dual coil dripper, not so much a single coil. (When they were first released they had airflow on one side only but now all of them are sold with holes on both sides) Also because it has a huge top cap it gives good clouds but the flavor is not as good as other smaller cap drippers like a Trident V2. I still love my Pillar though!
