I'm considering a box mod. I recently got into sub-ohming, and am currently running a single battery Ragnarok with a Marquis. My current resistance is .35 ohm and I am loving it. I know this isn't good for a single battery, especially since Sony stopped making VTC batteries.

So I am looking for a box mod that takes more than one battery, and is capable of sub-ohm. I'm not talking .5, I want to be able to go lower without problems. That's the whole reason for parallel batteries, so I can stay within safe current draw limits.

Extra points for frugality.

Extra thoughts: We need something here like reddit gold. To give credit for those who are extra helpful. Knowhatimean? At least something more than a "like" button.

DNA 40 box mods have pretty much made all others obsolete, unless you like endangering your health, and dry nasty hits and other problems associated with all other boxes that can do nasty things to your wicking, wire or juice that ruin taste and give you cancer and other health problems, when the temperature goes higher than 420 F. degrees or so.

so keeping that in mind, I recommend the VaporShark rDNA 40

I have issue with just about everything in this post :?: What health problems are associated with non TC vaping other than speculation? I sure know vaping hasnt proven to give cancer.

VosVape, Brick house box mod, Vape Headz and other tons of the box mod maker is available. beside, the battery life will be much longer. plus, try the 26650 VAPPOWER. people says its the true 40 amp output. there are vappower rewrap but the original one is beast :D longer battery life too

You remind me of those ads in the 1950's that said "4 of 5 doctors recommend Camel cigarettes for their patients who smoke" - lol

GET REAL!

There are other batteries rated for low ohms. I think you can go down to .3 with the HE series batteries and the 25R. Worst case scenario, there's always Efest. Hate to say it though. Even though I'd never own an Efest, there's plenty of people who run those down at .2 ohms around here.

With that said, I'd highly recommend a Reo Grand. I use mine with a Trident V2, soon to be a cyclone, but my Trident is down at .41 ohms and it's awesome. Plus I don't have to drip because well... it's a Reo. I have a few VTC5's in rotation so I'm set. I've acquired 4 from eBay with success and have subohmed all of them long term

No better box mod around for the money than a squonker..I have a regulated device and it goes to 100 watts..but I'll never even get to 30 watts on it I'm sure.

I use my Reo LP Grand the most.

For you guys wanting a VV box..I can recommend the Sigelei 100 watt or 100 Plus..I have the 100watt Sigelei and for the money they are pretty good box mods. Several vendors have them for around $90 or a bit cheaper. Do not pay over $100 for one..imo the Plus is the best because it has the updates.

Sigelei 100 Watt Plus Box Mod - 101 Vape

what is your health worth? - and $190 starts looking pretty reasonable compared to the other DNA 40 devices that are $250 or $300 - besides, it is something that should last you for many years.
