Hey guys, I recently discovered snuff, and I think it is great. I have used a few so far: Ozona menthol, Glacierpriese, and MacCraigs I think.

They are all menthols.

I want some snuff that is strong though, in terms of feeling. I want it to burn me and give me a rush. I want my eyes to water.

I like menthol a lot, but I am open to other kinds.

Hey giantfan
I just tried some Garrett Sweet for the first time tonight. It is exactly like the reviews read, fine and dry, smokey tobacco, BBQ, burn the nose w/o making the eyes tear and yes sir, it most certainly got the nic!

Just tried it so I'm not sure yet if I like it but it does deliver!

FUBAR Grunt.

It'll bring tears to your eyes, burn your skull, pillage your sinuses and leave you gasping for more.

isande....FUBAR is a must in my next order...How would you compare it to American Scotches/Sweets? Is it as dry? or is there some moistness to it? Really looking for something potent myself without the Scotch smokiness!....To the OP...Try some Three Thistle Strong(It will make a man out of you!!):)The Wiz!

So I used to do Beech-nut as a teen, and now Red man is on the plate. I welcome all users opinions. I'm still thinking that camel Frost is way cool. But slowly learning that Svedish snus is the way to go. Currently using Claq Qui, and Thunder Frost.

So teach this new guy about Red Man. so far doesn't taste too bad at all. Like the tobacco flavor with a hint of sweetness.

I know I'm comparing chew with snus, but you get the idea.

Any input?

Sorry. Off topic. I should have started a new thread.

Beer Man....As TB just mentioned the chew and dip are both terrible tobacco products for those looking for safer alternatives to smoking. With e-cigs,snus and snuff I could never see myself going back to anything that has been known to cause health problems.Do yourself a huge favor and stick with one/all of the above three alternatives I mentioned!!:)The Wiz!

Beer man I do have to agree with TB chew is a awesome way to revolt strangers and have loved ones loathe you.

Dip/chew/squib is like the ...... of tobacco.. other than straight up chewing tobacco like beechnut and redman make up is almost as scary and analogs.

Fiberglass, additives and other chemicals are a good way to get oral cancer.

Snus in the traditional sense is no where near what chew is on the realm of toxic and cancer causers.

Today was my first day of snuff and snus at work and brought out the big guns....Honey bee and clove mccrystals which I think I am renaming methcrystals just for the kick it gives. Also too my s'nuff and quit cans along.

Snuff and quit kept me going pretty well inbetween my snus. I did not snus near the amount I did and only hit the tooters about a half a dozen times..

It is very dry and fine but I don't think quite as much so as the American snuffs.

Anything by Pöschl is quite goodl; Gletscher Prise and Apricot are fantastic. However, Wilsons of Sharrow makes hands down the best snuff for my money. Their Menthol Plus has a nice eucalyptus start that fades into a simply excellent tobacco finish. It's an oil-based fragrance rather than paraffin (Pöschl uses paraffin), and the Menthol Plus will knock you down the first few times!! :D

For a great online dealer I highly recommend SmokingPipes.com:
Snuff at Smoking Pipes .com

I've been dealing with them for my pipe, tobacco blend, snuff needs for about three years now, and they have some of the best, most personable staff on the web. I even get Xmas cards from them! ;)

Thanks for4 the link sepper33.......Prices are extremly low compared to some other snuff venders. I wish the selection was a bit larger...No Toque for one,and only four flavors of Samuel Gawith! Looks like there is room for expansion in their snuff line.$15 minimum on all orders for those interested! Thanks again!! :)The Wiz!

No problem Wiz-
I guess their selection of snuffs might not be the best, but obviously it's not their specialty :p. I usually just picked up a few tins when I ordered my pipes, but the prices sure are good, and they carry only quality products. (I don't work for them, but I would in a heartbeat :p).

Just a user recommendation.
