Hi guys, am really surprised by the huge amount of information and support on this website. I brought my 1st and current ecig at deal extreme thereafter googling then leads me to this forum. How i wish it was the other way round and things may be different .

2 Questions:

My current ecig has a burning smell when i inhale. What is the problem and if it is possible to recitfy? :glare:

Which ecig you guys recommend to a noob like me?
Am planning to get a proper one as the TH sucks, batt life sucks, default carts has no nic which causes me to smoke analogs at the same rate i am smoking at on top of ecig!

It has to be one that i can carry around with, and has a good battery life (i can be out without a power source for 16 hrs though its occasional). If i can leave it in my mouth that would be real great! Though the last one may be too much to ask..

Thanks in advance!

Welcome sianz!
Sounds like your running too low on juice. That could be why you're getting a burning taste. Could also be some poly-fill treads caught in your atomizer.

As for a 16 hour ecig, you're going to want to get a mod. There are dozens to chose from that can fit the bill for you. It all depends on how much you'll be vaping. Box mods are some of the least expensive.

You could also look into the Janty eGo. The battery won't last 16 hours, but if you carried 2 batteries, you'd be good to go!

Hi,
I am new too, 8 days and 4 days smoke free! I came here before buying my kit and after recommendations and reading I bought the ego kit from Cignot. It has two batteries with one charger, two attomizers and 5 cartridges and an atty cover. A charge lasts several hours of constant vaping. I would recommend a kit and maybe extra battery and charger. They also sell a bigger battery, I don't own that so don't know much about it except it is larger and lasts even longer. You would also want to buy some e juice and extra cartridges/atomizers or cartomizers. Others here also recommend the Riva, which I believe is the same or close to the ego. There is also a sale right now at LiteCigUSA and their prices are pretty good.

There is so much info here and the people are great. You will get alot of imput.

Another vote for the eGo. If you get the Mega atomizers and cartridges with it (see CigNot, mentioned above), you can get a few hours on one fill. You probably couldn't comfortably leave it hanging in your mouth, but honestly, that's true of even most of the smaller e-cigs. Even if it's the size of a cigarette, it's much heavier due to the material.

Also, it would have to be an automatic battery. Automatics have some drawbacks - they can be destroyed by juice going down through the atomizer and into the battery, they can be set off by noise or vibration, etc. Most eGo are manual, and it's a good thing.

The eGo is the size of a small cigar. But you'll get your killer battery life, and get it in gold and you'll look pretty snazzy. :vapor:

Hi,

ego is one of the ecig highly recommended, probably cos of its lasting battery. But I dun think it could last you for 16hours which you may need to explore mod that uses "big" battery, high mAh.

Suggest you take a look this web: Bestecig cos they provide custom risk warranty which is a plus point to us who from a country where ecig is unwelcome.

what i bought was from dealextreme sku 29839 (cant post links yet, sorry)

i believe is the quality issue of the carts included as now on my fifth, the burn taste is suddenly gone, lol

I think most probably will be getting ego from Bestecig based on the recommendations here :)

a few more questions though, what PT work with ego?

also, its dripping better or filling carts better? if dripping would it be better to get a drip tip? i presume a dip trip will replace the cart right?

Are you referring to a passthrough when you say PT? With an Ego, a PT isn't really important because the battery life is pretty decent....around 6 hours per battery for a heavy user.

Personally, I never fill carts anymore....I just drip. Yes, a drip tip will replace the cart. However, if you're driving a lot, I would suggest using cartomizers with your Ego as it's pretty difficult to drip while you drive unless you have a passenger to help you!

Have a look at some of the bottom-fed mods. They will give you at least 18-24 hours battery life and you'll never have to worry about refilling carts, cartomizers, dripping again. The one in my avatar is called the Reo and I cannot recommend it highly enough! There's a mini version coming out soon :)
