I recommend the smok alien. I have many mods but it feels the best in my hand, the fire bar (instead of little button) is amazing, good battery life. Whether you are into subohm or just low wattage puffing it will do the job.

Kanger tanks take many varieties of Kanger coils. Some are quite good with more VG. What sort do you have? Some of the latest SSOCC have large liquid holes. Some Innokin coils have large holes but they are too packed with cotton really. High watt capability coils should wick faster so maybe a coil rated higher would work better with high VG at lower power
I never struggled with 70% VG with 0.5ohm 'round' SSOCC in my Subvod kit.

Hi and Welcome- I use Kanger SSOCC .5 coils in my Nebox and they handle the higher VG pretty well! They have large juice holes! Just make sure you prime the coil (juice the outside coil wick ports cotton holes) and let it sit in the tank of liquid for at least 15 minutes. Some people poke the cotton on the coil wicks with a pin to loosen the cotton. Also take some drags without power to get juice into the coil, and start your watts low around 10w and work your way up slowly till it taste good. I usually stay between 25w-30w.

I am using the kanthal .5Ω Kanger SSOCC coils
I have not used the ceramic coils.
Maybe You Tube can help with the ceramic coil if no one here has the same experience.

Oh, ceramic... no idea on them. Sorry.

I haven't let a coil sit now for 2 years, maybe 3 years. I don't believe in it. I just prime it good (like; totally sure) and start low.

You could poke around in the cotton, I've been known to do that when a coil looks too packed full.

Hi, I just want to get some advice on what is the best battery to use for my GeekVapes Karma Kit

You'll be building coils. If so, how low?

Curiously, on the GeekVape site it says "Sub-ohm tank not recommended".... that's a bit strange. I think that refers to NOT using a factory Sub-ohm tank, an off the shelf one... see below... *** (very important)

Anyway. It's a tube mod that will have 4.2v as the maximum.

I would suggest not building much under 0.25-0.3ohms (you'd need to hear from an experienced mech user) and getting a genuine 30amp battery. If you are happy sticking to 0.4ohms or above, you could use a 20amp battery.

More info

***At the top of the Black Ring mechanical mod is a direct to 510 hybrid connection. This means your atomiser essentially connects directly to the battery and allows for maximum conductivity, this can also be dangerous too.

You need to make sure the 510 pin on your atomiser is protruding at least 1mm, to prevent hard shorts, and never use a sub ohm tank with a fixed 510 pin.

Also ensure that your chosen 18650 has no tears on the wrapper, and make sure you have an understanding of Ohms Law so that you know whether your battery is capable of handling the amp draw from your build!
