The only thing I can tell you is fasttech is the land of infinite drip tips. There’s so many it’s annoying. The hard part is finding other things. You know about fasttech though so I’m not sure what to tell you. Drip tips follow fashion more than any other bit, so what you need is likely something out of fashion at the moment. (Though of course it will be back. Fashion recycles itself). One thought might be to buy a wide one and narrow it manually. Lot of work and polishing plastic is a PITA. The irony is it isn’t because it’s hard, it’s because it’s soft. Very easy to overwork.

Go to Drip Tip Designz. Personally I love Cherry Vape's Cloud Chaser tips, but they only come in black, white, or silver.
I can't find drip tip designz web site. Could you possibly put in the link? Or do they no longer have a site and I'd have to order from fb?

Oh, I forgot to say that when the FDA Deeming was released, they dropped their website and now sell only on Face Book and Pinterest. I haven't ordered from them since that date since I began using the Cherry Vape cloud chaser tips, but they are quality high end drip tips.

Carbon fiber is a weird choice. It’s basically fiberglass except it uses a different fiber. I suppose it could be “carbon fiber appearance” which is to say dark colored woven fiber in a clear substrate. Regular glass fiber treated in that way will look identical if colored appropriately. There are also stickers.

I had one of Drip Tip Designz carbon fiber tips. You're right, it appeared to be a woven fiber, appearing to look like carbon fiber encased in a clear resin.

Carbon Fiber is an excellent choice for a driptip. Strong, light with high heat resistance. It is sheets of carbon fibers woven together - but in the case of a ridged component, such as a Driptip, sheets will be formed around (or into) a mold, resin applied, then vacuumed pressure to cure.

The raw woven carbon look can be retained, different coloured fibers could also be used. Or the finished product can be painted.

Yeah, the only difference between fiberglass and carbon fiber is the properties of the fiber which includes strength, but one of which is cost. Carbon fiber used to be like aluminum in that back before electrical smelting methods were invented aluminum was more expensive than gold. Tech innovation made it vastly cheaper but it still isn’t Uber cheap. There was a time when carbon fiber was called “spun diamond”. It’s a lot cheaper now but it’s still several times the price of fiberglass. There is no benefit in a hugely stiff drip tip, so my suspicion is you’re looking at fiberglass.

Oh it will work fine. I think the {advantages} of carbon fiber over silica fiber are largely lost on something like a drip tip though.

CLARIFICATION:
I guess I’m saying it may not actually be carbon fiber but that doesn’t matter much at all. Still light and strong.

Carbon Fiber has reached a production cost similar, if not equal to fiberglass. Drip tips do not require the excessive engineering as a Formula 1 component (as example), so their cost can be kept low and well within market norms.

It’s not so much of exploiting the advantages of CF, at least with a driptip - but the fact you are using something that is made of CF which can be perceived as high end, or high quality given it’s use in more detailed or critical applications like auto racing or a high tech bicycle. Some also enjoy that weaved look of CF

Didn’t know that. Changes the potential of the equation quite a lot.

So Like I said, “carbon fiber appearance. Except that it also very well may actually be carbon fiber because materials cost reductions

I love the colorful resin drip tips. It seems like they keep wider and wider.

I am looking for colorful, nice drip 510 tips that are a bit narrower (not super skinny just not hugely wide).

    Any recommendations or links?

    Thanks

I'm not sure what bore you prefer - I'm around the 5 or 6mm mark. Here's my favourites:
