Hi all,

I'm new to this forum but I've been vaping for about 8 months now. A months back I purchased myself a Kanger subox Mini Starter Kit from Mt Baker Vapor. I have loved and adored that thing, but unfortunately over time and my clumsiness, the glass in my tank has cracked.

Do you guys have any recommendations that is better than the Subox Mini?

I just started using an Atlantis v2 on my subox yesterday, and the subox does great with this tank. The .5 ohm coils in the Atlantis give huge flavor (and clouds), and they wick amazingly with 100% vg. Ordered mine from 101vape, great price, at my door in 3 days free shipping..

I don't see any reason for you to get a different mod if you are going to stick to tank vaping. I just started using an Atlantis v2 on my subox yesterday, and the subox does great with this tank. Probably should have mentioned that the mod is stuck to the body haha so I can't remove the top. Otherwise I would have put my Nautilus mini on there. Have you had this issue as well with the subox?

Yikes, no I haven't. I tend to overtighten my tank, but I always manage to get it off. Have you had juice leak down under the tank? The threads could be gummed up. I guess worst case senario, take a pair of plyers to it and see how stuck she really is haha

Hahah it's been stuck since the first week of getting it and never was bothered to fix it. Do you find the Atlantis v2 to be a better tank than the original one of the Subox?

Didn't buy the subox mini but my original subtank mini came with a extra glass, check your box maybe? Pretty cheap to order online too and you can get different colors.

Much better, and that's an understatement... I get three times the flavor and double the vapor from the Atlantis v2 than the subtank mini at only 35 watts! Using .5 ohm coils on both. Also, the Atlantis does not leak juice into the air flow ring or under the tank like the kanger subtank does.. The Atlantis has more airflow adjustability, and the coils wick extremely well. For the price I don't see why you couldn't try it. You won't be dissapointed.

Even though the Atlantis uses about 1 1/2 times the juice, in my experience, battery life has been slightly better than with the subtank..? I assume it's because you can vape the Atlantis at lower wattage and get a better vape than the subtank. I don't mind one bit!

Oh wow really? I'm sold! I too don't like it when juice leaks out on the subtank, thought it was my own clumsiness haha never knew it was an actual thing. I will check it out :)

Take a rubber band and wrap it around the base of the Subtank. It should work like a kitchen jar gripper. If that doesn't work to get the tank off you can "gently" use a pair of pliers on top of the rubber band to protect the tank and try unscrewing. I've got 6 Subtanks and none of them leak, if you get an extra glass you can salvage the subtank. I'd recommend getting a new set of orings too.

The Atlantis V2 is a nice tank, but it doesn't have a build deck to wire your own coils. You might also look at the Smok TVF4, it's a cloud machine. I have one ordered, and already have the build deck for it.

I'm really curious to try that smok tfv4 out, it looks killer. Let me know what you think about it. I'm still iffy about pulling the trigger at the moment, especially at $30 for a 5 pack of clearo coils..

I've seen the coils for $16 a 5 pack. I bought the build deck separate because thats the cheapest way to go, building my own coils. A local shop merchant told me her hubby got 120 ml's of juice before having to change the coil.

Damn, that's not bad. Where did you find the coils at that price?

Also, I would only be buying the tank for those amazing clearos; I like my rda for single coil building fun.
