It is a rather odd air path, not that I know any different. But the ego skirt has the 4 slots, then the itaste vv has 4 slots on top of the 510 socket and then 2 slots in the bottomed of the tanks 510 thread. Not sure how it makes it past the 510 threads but that appears to how it works.

I'd like to rephase that to "It's a miracle that it works!"

Worse yet for 510 threaded tanks if you ever look at how the airflow has to go;
- the air has to get in through the 4 notches at the top of the 510 threadwell
- enter the 3 pin holes on the tank's 510 thread
- then in the case of the protank type - go down the space between the tanks 510 threads and the center pin of the atomizer
- reach the center pin of the battery and get in that slot on the center pin of the atomiser
- finally rise up through the hole in the center pin of the atomizer

Anyway, finally, last year, Joyetech came out with the ego-cc which put the airflow entrance up near the top of the tank, then Kanger and Aspire came out with the Aerotank and Nautilus with airflow designed into it instead of just being almost an afterthought

I was only 1 week in when I went the RBA route. I love my kayfun lite, and it holds plenty of juice. I have this with a Sentinel M16 right now, but its heavy and really sucks to be walking around with. So I picked up an Aspire vivi nova today, and use that with a 1300Mah VV ego style battery. Its a pretty cheap setup and I am loving it.

All great responses IMO, I wasn't able to put down the analogs completely until I, by chance, got an Iclear 30S, put it on the stick battery I was using and had no problem putting them down after that.. It looks good on a pencil style although a lil beauty ring helps. It Rawks on my Itaste MVP been using that combo for a month or so.. And, lol, I just ordered my first Mech/RDA because I tried rebuilding on a protank and an evod and I found I really enjoy it, I find it relaxing as though i were tying fishing flies or maybe cross stiching..? but If you don't want to give that a try, many of the choices mentioned can be Fill & Go... Hope this helps..

All the responses have been helpful. Tomorrow I think I'm going to get an aerotank mini, a protank 2 or 3 mini (leaning towards the 2 to maybe rebuild if I decide to give it a try) and a few more juices.

I am still thinking I will get a itaste 134 mini or something along those lines but for now try some different tanks that I'm sure will greatly improve my vaping experience.

I love the looks of the 134 but for a beastly looking hunk o metal that thing only goes up to 12.5 watts, and my little vamo and zmax both go up to 15 watts for a whole lot $less$. Plus they both also start at 3 watts which is convenient for dryburning; plus they have vv not just vw whereas the 134 is vw only.

Details:

Tips: The iTaste 134 is a microprocessor-controlled VW mod that allows you easily adjust the wattage with a rotational wheel. The solid stainless steel body gives it a fairly hefty weight. With 510/eGo threading, and a removable beauty ring, this mod will compatible with virtually any clearomizer, cartomizer or tank.

•Power On/Off: press the firing button quickly 3 times
•Adjusted with the rotational wheel to 6.5W, 7W, 8W, 9W, 10W, 11W, 12W, and 12.5W
•Battery power indicator: (green = fully power; yellow = medium power; red = low power)
•10-Seconds cutoff
•Short circuit protection
•Reverse battery protection circuit
•Low voltage warning
•LED light blinking mode
•Removable beauty ring
•510/eGo threading connector
•Can be powered by 18650 battery (battery sold separately)
•Comes with a iClear30 dual coil clearomizer (with rotatable drip tip)

I checked both of those out and am impressed. I really don't see anything spec wise that even makes the 134 as good as either of those. How does the build quality feel? Does one feel a bit higher quality than the other?

The zmax I have is a pretty solid stainless steel tube; I like the feel of it in my hand.

The vamo I have happens to be the cheap chrome brass version, and unlike the long tube on my version of the zmax, my vamo has two segments of battery tubes to allow for long mode and short mode; but that ends up making it a tad ... rikety? It doesnt 'feel' as solid, and it sometimes cuts off as a result of movement.

but it's the vamo I end up using alot; the zmax has only 1 button.
the vamo has 3; and it's easy to check ohms and battery voltage on a whim with the vamo with 1 button press each whereas with the zmax I'd have to click 6 to 10 times, and stop/wait because of the single button menu.
Oh- plus with the vamo I can check ohms without firing the coil full power; with the zmax it's full power so no good to checking ohm of dry cotton wick coil.

this week I also had to open up my vamo and repair a center pin problem. and I can order a replacement or spare pcb board for it if need be, so my vamo is looking pretty serviceable right now, whereas the way my zmax is constructed, it don't look like I can fix it if it gets broke; its pretty rock solid though.

I'm thinking to order the new mukey version of the vamo; these vamo people really do think about what they're doing; there's also the eHuge vamo- a 26650 version of the vamo.

Everybody who uses cartos here seems to use IBTanked;
They're basically pretty simple tanks; the tricky part is the o-ring seals I think; at least as far as the tanks themselves go.
Then there's the priming of a carto. I hear it's not good enough to just pop in a carto and let it sit till tomorrow.

A neat trick I saw on one of GrimmGreen's videos is to use the rubber cap from the packaging. Fill it about halfway with juice then press the carto back onto it. It pushes the juice up through the air hole and then spills over into the filler. Let that sit a bit and it ends up really well saturated. I personally don't use cartos so I can't guarantee how well this works but it looked like a big time saver to me. Just make sure you blow out the air hole before you use the carto of course.

I ordered some cartos to give them a shot but have been kinda worried about the tanks cant seem to find any that look like their worth anything. what would you recommend?
I have an iClear 30, 2 iClear 30S, and Nimbus RDA right now. I would highly recommend the 1.5ohm 30S. I've had mine for about a week now and I've been using it on my vv mods. It has yet to leak or dry hit. It looks pretty awesome and it's easy to clean since you don't have to mess with the wicks. They're all contained inside the metal tube in the center. I've got really great flavor from it which is my favorite part about it. Wow, I just realized I sound like an Innokin sales rep haha. I just really love thier products and haven't had any problems with them.
