I just bought the njoy NPRO (still waiting on it). And now im starting to second guess the choice I made. Is there a better e-cig out there? (kind of a broad question I know) but is the NPRO a quality e-cig? Should I have gone with the Blu, or the Luci, or some other mini? I'm not much for the pen style and know I don't want a cigar style or something bulky, but do you feel like I should send the NPRO back or go ahead and buy another e-cig? Money really isn't that big of a deal. It seems like most people on here make a hobby of collecting e-cigs anyways. But for a first time e-cig what would you recommend? Thanks in advance. :)

When I was originally looking around for a basic starter kit from a company like blucigs or njoy I was very tempted to purchase from njoy. Then I realized while checking over many weeks that they never had any carts in stock, so I changed my mind. Plus as I kept going back to their site I noticed that the equivalent cigarettes per cart was going down. I went over to blucigs and ordered one there, but then saw some reviews on the janty ego and thought it looked really sharp.

I cancelled my order with blucigs and got the eGo based on the reviews I read and the widely available parts for it. Plus, again, how sharp it looks. I just can't wait til it gets here. I'm hoping for tomorrow.

yeah, It always seems like we want to get something that's as much like a tobacco cigarette as possible. But the reviews for njoy and blu are just not that great. Go for the 510 or eGo/tornado. I started less than a week ago with the 510 and it got me off of analogs, but in the back of my mind I sort of wish it had been an eGo instead. (BTW: my eGo is coming in the mail tomorrow or the next day)

Money really isn't that big of a deal. :)

E-cig selection is purely personal. If money is really not that big of a deal, I would jump to one of the high-end customized mods. I have the NPro. It works, and has a semi decent battery life for a commercial "mini". It's bigger around than a camel wide, so it takes a little getting used to the mouth feel. The carts won't last very long, so unless you ordered a ton (I doubt) or ordered e-liquid, you are going to run out pretty quick.

If you are just interested in seeing if you like the e-cig experience, the NPRO is just as good as any, assuming you are prepared to throw it out after a month or so. Think of it as a slightly more expensive disposable to test the waters, and you'll be ok. After that, you'll probably be looking for a different model or a mod.

My only caution is to not invest heavily in any particular technology (Whether it's 510, 901, mod or NPRO) until you have a feel for what you like / don't like about the NPRO (or whatever you choose as a first). Each e-cig has its own strong and weak points, hence the common situation of people owning 4-5 different mods.

Once you have a feel for what you want (more vapor, longer battery life, longer cartridge life, smaller, bigger, prettier, more cigarette-like, less cigarette-like, easily available parts, whatever) you can come back and do some research on the different models and styles and make a more informed choice. Regardless of the initial model chosen, it will give you a baseline to refine your preferences from.

OK so I've decided on the 510...the only thing that turned me away from it in the first place was the manual battery. I thought that it was just to much hassel to have to push a button when I'm so used to just inhaling. Now can someone point me in the direction of a good site to purchase my 510. Also I want to buy a PCC with my 510 to charge the batterys.:)

there are a lot of really good reputable dealers. I got mine from ecigexpress. Just ordered an eGo from wordupecig and they called me just moments later and I could tell the guy was really excited about the product and offered all sorts of advice. Said I could call him when it gets here and he'll help me set it up if I want. Pretty good service.

I definitely second the 510 from cignot if you are looking for a good starter for a good price. If you are a little unsure about the manual, why not get one auto and one manual? I did that (felt the need to try both out), and I prefer the manual but I'm glad I tried both. The 510 auto has actually been very responsive for me too.

Remember that the eGo is essentially a long lasting 510, so if you decide to go that route later, your 510 atty's and carts from cignot will not go to waste. :)

Well I went ahead and bought from vaporkings.com Hope thats a reputable site...and yea I might get the eGo later on down the road (if vaping seems to be my thing) which I hope it is because I just spent over $100.00 on the 510...with 2 bottles of e-liquid, a pcc, a carry case, and some extra carts. Shipping was free. I just liked the 510 over the eGo because it was smaller. Seemed more like a cigarette to me, you know? Oh yea where can I buy automatic batteries for my 510 I can't seem to find them anywhere.

I just received the vapor king from Vapor4life.com yesterday. It is simple to use, packs a punch, and has a good taste. I'm not sure exactly which model the unit is. It seems that many distributors re-brand the same item (likely purchased out of china) and sell it under their own label. Nonetheless, people seem to be really satisfied with theirs. They are 2 piece units (battery + a combo catridge/atomizer). So far I am pretty impressed with the device. Today at lunch I showed my friend the unit and believe it or not, he made the decision that he was going to switch from analogs to vaping within just a couple minutes of playing with it. V4L is based out of Illinois and fortunately so am I, which means speedy deliveries.

Hi Slow (another desert dweller here) Im thinking once you try the manual batt youll love it. The autos are NOT like smoking an analouge, you have to puff to trigger it and THEN draw. The manual you just push the button 1 sec or so before you draw with no dramatics. Its actually easier to get a good hit with the manual IMHO. I had the auto with my first "eCig" (quotes cuz it was a crap SE kit) and I now have a Mega 510 from TW that rocks! Try the manual for a few days before you go chasing down auto bats I think youll save yourself some $$$ plus if you ever decide to direct drip, you cant do that with unsealed auto bats. These things are front weighted because of the battery weight and I cant really see how you could comfortably vap one with it just hanging on your lip (look ma no hands) :D

Dude, get the Joye 510 from Cignot your Midwest Electronic Cigarette store. I thought the same thing at first with the manual battery it's not reallt a hassle it gives you more control on how long you can take a hit. I found with the auto battery it cuts you off when your not done hitting. I get massive vapor production. Its awesome!
