ORIGINAL POST
Haven't used e-cigs since 2009, and feel way out of the loop.
I think I want a innokin zlide Tank.
Not sure which coils, but I assume I should try the .48Ω Z-Plex3D ones first?
I'd like some recommendations for a battery and e-juice.
For e-juice, I think I want to go flavorless. Not sure tho.
As far as batteries, idk what I need/want.

Any recs for online stores, batteries or eliquid would be appreciated
______________________________________________________

4/20/22 Update: More info
1.) New York State, USA
2.) I see vape shops around but never stop in
3.) budget is whatever
4.) 20+ year smoker. Over a pack a day at this point.

As per recs itt: I think I'll be getting the CoolFire Z80 Zenith II Kit (w/ %25 off Easter Sale - ending 4/22) since that looks like an updated version of the Zlide that I liked.
My only hesitation is that I'm not so sure that I want/need a 5.5ml tank. I think I'd prefer something smaller for an on-the-jobsite everyday-carry.

Also not sure which coil I should buy as an extra. Was thinking 1.2ohm, but not sure which is best for me.
- I'm not looking for massive clouds, I just want something that will hopefully satisfy my cigarette craving.

- Ordered 60ml of 12mg & 6mg flavorless juice to try at first (as per rec)
- ? should I buy additional 18650 batteries and an external charger, or just a 2nd kit?
______________________________________________________

UPDATE2:

Def gonna buy a dual port charger and 2 batteries. Also will buy a 2nd kit eventually, maybe right away if I'm sure about which one I want.
- Molicel P26a 18650 batteries
- Efest LUC 2 charger
cost of both would come to ~$40 after tax & shipping. Fine with me. I don't want to cheap out on batteries & chargers.

Big Thanks to all who responded. I had quit analogs for several months in 2009 via e-cigs, and I know I need to do it for good this time. I've been a bit overwhelmed by the buying process, and your help is truly appreciated.

Any recs for online stores

If you want to check out the Innokin Coolfire Z80 Kit with the Zenith II tank...InnokinStore.com has them in stock in 5 different colors. They also have a Texas location that they ship from, so you'd get it much faster than from any vendor shipping from China.

They're having an extended Easter Sale right now, too...with 25% off all kits and mods. So, the kit above, from them, would be $52.49 after the discount, which is automatically applied in your Shopping Cart. If you ordered a box of the Z-coils, too...you'd reach their $59.99 order total needed to qualify for Free S/H. They do NOT charge the silly Adult Signature on Delivery Fee either. Even if you ordered just the Kit though, their S/H is still reasonable, especially compared to other US vendors.

There are many members who've bought the kit and love them. Quite a few have bought multiples of them after trying out their 1st one. In fact, Monday night I couldn't pass up the Sale and their newer Rose Gold color. So I ordered 2 of them...1 to add to my 5 other colors and 1 for another ECF member who didn't have 1 yet.

Here's a link to them:

That kit looks amazing. If I hadn't just bought a Kroma-z I'd be all over it, just to try it anyway!

    Hi and welcome,
Federal, state, and local laws have made: "Location = USA" a shadow of it's former self.
Do you have a vape shop close to you?
    What is your budget?
    Are you currently smoking cigarettes?
    How many per day?

    Cheers

Well a backup mod is always a necessity if you want to avoid buying a pack of smokes when you mod breaks and extra batts is never a bad idea. So both

Much appreciated. My only hesitation is the size of this thing @26mm with the 5.5ml tank.
I think I'm gonna buy it and try it. Worst case it'll be great for home use.
Not sure which coil size I should get as an extra. Leaning towards 1.2 but not sure which is best for me.
    - I'm not looking for massive clouds, I just want something that will hopefully satisfy my cigarette craving.
Thanks again to you and the others

Then get a Kroma-r mod. It's slightly smaller, but it's kinda heavy though for a small mod. Then you can buy a zlide. In fact, I believe the Kroma-r kit comes with a zlide, not a zenith. Same coil.

    The Z80 is 28x84x38mm and 85 grams
The Kroma-r is 26x82x40mm but that 40mm it's actually smaller than that because the is at the flared part at the top I think. And it's a whopping 138 grams.

Thinking about getting one of each, but might just get two of the Z80's since the Kroma-R doesn't really seem smaller/ more portable.

Zeroing in. I'll probably sleep on it. %25 off sale is good until 4/22.

If you buy a second kit you'll still need batteries and a charger. I bought a small 2 bay charger and a few batteries since I don't have any (I've been using pod mods exclusively).

    Innokin Store Specs:
    Kroma-R Device Dimensions: 82 x 43.5 x 28.8mm - that's with no tank on it
Coolfire Z80 Dimensions: 131.75 x 38.3 x 27.6mm, but..that 131.75 is with the Zenith II tank on the mod. I just measured mine, and the mod itself is only 83mm tall.

Also, you're welcome, if any info I provided was helpful to you. I've learned a bunch myself from members here, since I started just lurking and reading in mid-2014.

As far as which Innokin Kit you may want to get - I have several Coolfire Z80 Kits, but just 1 Kroma-R Kit. 2 reasons for that are I prefer the Z80 size, weight, feel/fit in my hand, and that the Zenith II tank comes in the kit. IMO, Innokin definitely hit a homerun with their various versions of the Zenith tanks, but the Zlide tanks don't quite live up to them by comparison. That's based on my own experience with them though. Yours may be very different.

About which Z Coils you might want to buy a box of:
You'd be getting 2 sub-ohm coils [0.3ohm and a 0.8ohm] with the Z80 kit. Both provide more clouds than the 1.2ohm and the 1.6ohm. If you want less cloud, slightly cooler vapor, really good flavor and coil longevity...I'd recommend the 1.2ohm, or the 1.6ohm that's their most popular coil for MTL vapers who want a more cigarette like draw.

ETA: If you get the Z80 kit and find that the 5.5mL Zenith II tank is larger than you'd prefer for a carry around set-up...you could buy a Zenith D22 3ml tank for it. I just put 1 on 1 of my Z80 mods, and it's only 3mm taller than the Zenith II, including the drip tip, but is only 22mm diameter and definitely weighs less. The D22 3mL Zenith is also available at Innokin Store. The 4mL 24mm original Zenith is also available and is 2-3mm taller than the Zenith II. But, it's heavier, too, like the Zenith II.

Hello all. Mike here. Brand new into vaping. 16th day. First few days I used a Twist Pen and some menthol juice from local show. A few days later I ordered a Innokin T22 Endura Pro ... Very good device so far ! I ordered quite a few bottles of salts and juice.

I have smoked 2 packs of cigarettes a day for past 20 years. I feel like I took to the vape like a duck to water. The salts I am using now are Tobacco Monster Smooth 20mg and naked max pineapple 35mg... I feel like about 10 good puffs is about equal to a cigarette .

I am about to order a back up... a Geekvape Legend 2... ordered 2 batteries .. I’ll know I’ll order more for back ups.

There is quite a bit to this stuff... glad they hadn’t banned it yet...

Well none of the stuff you mentioned is approved by the FDA to market and sell to US consumers so technically they are banned. The USA govt doesn't need to ban things to ban them. They just make an ABC department that classifies products as something they aren't, makes an approval process for marketing that product, only approves 1 or 2 products made by big companies that have lobby organizations that feed the "public servants"...and boom, you essentially have a ban, otherwise known as a soft ban.

One of my RTA's is a fiver, the several others are 2millers. At first I thought, "5ml? A huger tank and I don't need that much anyway..", but after the first week my mind was definitely 180'ed. 4-6 days before a refill for me. Hmm ladies, I guess size really does matter..
