I've only be vaping a few weeks on an ego c twist with a basic clearomizer. Im not ready to move up to a mod anytime soon but was wondering what would be the next step up from an ego twist. I'd ask the vendor at the store where I buy my e juice at but they are always so swamped, so I dont wanna take up so much of their time with my questions.

If you are not the tech sort, and don't want to get into all the building/rebuilding stuff, I would recommend upgrading to the MVP 2. Great little vaping device. Easy to use, and all kinds of tanks/toppers fit on it. It has the best battery life ever, a couple of days without needing to charge it. Many people here went from their starter/ego set ups to the MVP and are very pleased. I am one of them.:)

It's very popular these days and you can find it lots of places online. Here is a link to a reliable ECF vendor that sells it. If you use the code ECF at checkout, you get 10% off, too and free shipping:

+1 for the MVP. Best bang for your buck. Loaded with advanced features and incredible battery life.

I have had the version one for a year. Version two has added features. I can get nearly 3 days on a single charge. It can be used while it is charging (unlike your ego batteries). You can charge your cell phone or IPod with the MVP.

Variable voltage AND variable wattage. Built-in ohm meter. Digital display. Comes with one or two iclear clearomizers in the starter kit, along with the charger and beauty ring. You can use eGo-threaded clearomizers without the beauty ring, add the beauty ring for larger 510-threaded juice attachments.

Don't be put off from the cigarette pack size box. It's lightweight and easily fits into a front pocket or purse. It didn't take long to get used to the size/shape and is actually pretty comfortable in the hand compared to some other mods I have.

MVP2 is the winner. Honestly, I think this is where people should start vaping. It provides a much better experience. I paid $20 more than an MVP2 costs for my Halo Triton starter kit in November and it comes nowhere close to the quality of the MVP2. That with a Kanger Protank 2 and you are set!

Edit: I was a little put off by the design of the MVP2 to begin with, but it grows on you as you use it and I've come to love it.

I would also recommend the MVP2. Great device! If it's too large though, (it's smaller then it looks online, I promise you) then go for the iTaste VV v3. Does everything the MVP2 does, except for charge your cell phone. Both are great to learn about different features and both provide a nice vape. Also, if you want better taste but don't want to rebuild, I highly recommend carto tanks. It take a little time to properly fill and prime the carto, but once you do I think they take less time overall to maintain. All you'll have to do is top off the tank until you get a burnt taste from the carto, which doesn't happen for quite a while depending on your juice. I've put on average 30 ml through mine before feeling like they need changing. After that, I just toss the carto. No dry burning! Way better taste then clearos

Everyone is different, but even though I have a Provari, which I really love, I still love my vv3, too. So hang onto your Twist even when you move up to something bigger and better (and everyone seems to love that MVP2). I take my vv3 with me when I go for my walks or am out running errands, just in case I feel like vaping. My Provari stays home because it is bigger and "less portable," at least for me.

Ego batteries (2) with 2 EVod tops..... Is good.
itaste VV v3 (2) with 2 Evods tops ..... Is better.
itaste MVP V2 or VAMO with either of the above batteries for back up and 2 EVODs. Best.

Now.... There are better set ups out there but you will need time and experience to use them. Eg: Mech mods, Kayfun ETC.....

What I have learned for my vaping is that 2 back up is better than 1 back up. No back up is no way!!

Cheers.

By all means try to look at them in the store if you can. I was able to handle and fondle both the MVP and the VV v3. I found the MVP felt too heavy and bulky for me but the VV v3 felt just right. Everybody is different. Although it is not variable voltage, my personal favorite is a simple Evic easy head on a 18350 tube. That gives me the ability to use replaceable batteries. But I'm a really simple kind of guy, so nothing fancy.
