But they are selling "Made in China" battery
Sorry if this is a newbie question , but to my understanding only "Made in japan" is accepted

Yes and no. The issue is rewraps can be dangerous. For a good while the only manufacturers actually making batteries, rather than just wrapping factory rejects with their own logos and fanciful power claims were in Korea and Japan. This may have changed. Panasonic may have opened a factory in China. I don’t know. As a rule I only use batteries @Mooch has tested, and to make sure they’re real, I only buy from recommended retailers. If mooch has not tested this particular battery model I wouldn’t buy it anyway.

I primarily use RTD Vapor. It's on the recommended list. If they don't have what I need, I use IMRBatteries.

I try to avoid any batteries made in China (except for AW batteries, but their plant has been shut down due to a flood incident for almost a year).

Samsung = South Korea
LG = South Korea
Sony/Murata = Japan

Although the above companies manufacturing plants may no longer be located in Korea or Japan, their manufacturing plants maintain their previous high standards as before.

That is where the companies originate, not necessarily where the batteries are manufactured. Samsung did have a battery plant fire in China back in 2017. And LG & Sony both have battery manufacturing facilities in China. That’s not to say the batteries we use to vape from these companies are made in China, for these big 3 have multiple facilities, but there is that possibility.

I agree, and I added (editied) something similar just before you posted.

When Japan suffered from the big earthquake and tsunami a couple of years ago, Sony's battery plants were destroyed. They also have manufacturing plants in the Phillipines.

Missed the edit :oops:

The 3 are juggernauts in the tech industry, and should any one of them suffer a horrible fate, such as the Japan tsunami, it is felt world wide. Can’t recall when but Samsung suffered a serious flood in one of their microprocessor FAB’s. Given they're the largest of only 3 computer memory chip fabricators, the price of computer memory skyrocketed!

I'm gonna use it to power my Gemini Titan 4000 Bicycle light.
With 6 battery and 7.4 volt , it should give about 10500 mah

Thanks for asking
maybe that can be interesting for you: 2S Batteries (7.2V-7.4V) – ENERprof
Their batteries are really good and they assemble them with a coiled cable.
To Samsung SDI manufacturing plant. They have one in Tianjin China (at the end you have the T like INR18650-29ET) and in Malaysia (sometimes you can find INR18650-25RM)

I know this case...has only one problem...no protection circuit and no passive balancer on that. After some time your batteries will be drifted and the main problem can be, that the weak ones will go very fast into deep discharge.
Usually if you don´t have any protection circuit you would need an external balancer, but in this box, you have neither the one, nor the other...
