Entry #2

Basically the same as entry #1, just a different configuration for the atty/carty holes, a slightly smaller tray and a few places 6ml bottles.

its technically a 15" piece of grass.. (bamboo)
i just realized that doest help there case at all!!!!!! lol

Actually, bamboo grows quite large and is becoming a popular source of sustainable material for flooring these days... :)

(although I don't think we'll see any RSM's made out of it any time in the future... LOL!!)

Ok I know my design is not piratey at all. I got my hands on some raw turquoise recently and have been tossing around some ideas to create a PV holder with some inlay. You didn't mention anything about that, but I can envision this one with wood burning instead. I'm thinking a nice barbed wire design around the exterior steps of the pyramid. Also, I didn't put a logo on it since I was planning it for me, but you could slap one on wherever you like.

julies pyramid vapor tray.jpg

Tier 1 holds 30ml juice at the corners. In between the juice is supposed to be carved out wells on all 4 sides. I was lazy and only made one (and not that good either!). Figure it's good for laying 510/901/808 batteries etc. Or cartos, atties, tweezers and anything else my cat would love to bat around.

Tier 2 has larger holes at the corners that go through down into level 1. These will hold ego/sb/etc. Other smaller holes can hold batts, 10ml bottles, cartos etc.

Tier 3 is supposed to be an oval shape-not very good at that as you can see. But that would hold the RSM (which I don't have :( )

It looks like the wood blocks are pretty thick in the sketchup, but you can use what you have on hand. Make more tiers if you like, make it rectangular, oval, etc.

Also, when I envisioned it, it's on a lazy suzan base, so it swivels easily to reach all sides. You may or may not be into that. Anyway, this is what I had in mind for me, so it was fitting that you launched this contest at this time. Maybe I'll get lucky and you'll like my idea. If not, there are sure some awesome other ones in this thread!

CHANGE TO #3This is replacing the last one I did. It's what I wanted initially, but couldn't make the drawing work. It's supposed to represent a ship (darker wood), with the quarter round hinged drawers representing sails (light wood). The holes would hold two tanks or big bottles and two 15ml bottles. The other side would have the same drawers. The blank spot in the middle would be for the Red Sky logo.
This one hurt my brain.

it's still 8"x5", but it's 3" tall

I wish we could post endless ideas. I have SOOOOO many more!

Just an idea, but you could make many of these with larger holes, and make modified plugs to put into them, for say, smaller diameter mods to fit snugly, or to make a 30ml bottle holder able to be used for 5 cartos(picture a 5 shooter on end with center carto hole)...
Or offer the buyer the plugs you pull out, so we can dremel the holes as needed.

Personally, I think you should hire me as a consultant ;)
