They say that after you quit smoking, your sense of taste will gradually return. They Are NOT KIDDING! When I first decided to upgrade from the little Blu e-cigs that got me started, I went to a local B&M shop where you can sit down and sample the flavors before you buy. One of the ones I tried that really clicked with me at the time was a Hazelnut Coffee. It didn't really blow me away, but I knew I would like it, so I purchased a 30ml bottle. On to the Wild Cherry, this stuff was awesome! Got me a 50ml of that one. I tried and purchased a few others, and do vape them in rotation, but the cherry and hazelnut are my 2 mains.
Now I had purchased the cherry to be my main, all day vape, but it seemed I was usually allways falling back to the hazelnut and favoring the cherry less. I didn't think much of it untill about a week ago when it hit me. Mid vape, the taste of that hazelnut juice hit me like 4th of July fireworks and I had to just sit back in amazement and think, HOLY CARP BATMAN! I REALLY FREEKIN LOVE THIS STUFF!
I do still love the cherry and vape it more frequently than the others I have, but as my sense of taste started returning it seems I have fallen in love with the flavor that I initially had figured on being my 'second choice'.

Anyway, on to something interesting that just happened today. While I was still smoking (only smoke free now for a month and 1 week), I would allways buy a starbucks coffee flavored energy drink. It didnt matter what flavor it was, as they all seemed to taste the same to me. But since I quit smoking, I havn't really had one in awhile, so kind of forgot about those drinks.
One of the juice flavors I had purchased recently was a Cappuccino flavor, and when I had purchased it I guess I had expected it to taste like those energy drinks. But once I got home and loaded up a clearo with it, I was hit with a very strong, dark turbo-espresso flavor kind of smack to the head! Wow, not what I was expecting, not bad, just a bit overpowering. I guess I figured that starbucks just really waters down the flavors in those canned energy drinks to appeal to the masses or something, so when I saw one today while at the store, I grabbed one. I popped it open on the way home and the first thing I noticed was the instant aroma of what smelled like that Cappuccino juice! Weird, never noticed it had an odor to it before. I took a drink and it tasted almost dead on like that Cappuccino vape! Never had the flavor of that stuff come out so clearly to my taste buds. Realizing that perhaps that juice was really closer to what it was supposed to taste like, I gave it another shot, and though it is much stronger in flavor intensity than the drink, I have found new appreciation for it and plan to work it into my regular vape rotation.
In any case, for those just getting into vaping, if you purchase some juices by mail order, and don't like them at first, find a juice that you do love and re-visit those other flavors a little later. You may find your new all day vape hiding out in the 'lost and forgotten' stash!
