First off I am new member and this my first post. I found this sticky funny as it is going to cause me to create 5 spam posts :) "New members must post 5 times in the New Members forum"...to avoid spam :)

At any rate I've only been vaping for maybe a week and half. I got a blu starter kit at my local gas station. I recently purchased an ego-c twist that hopefully will be arriving in the mail this weekend if I am lucky. I wish I would have found this site before hand but it is what it is. As much bad reviews as some of the blu is getting it is serving it's purpose for me. I'm on my 3rd day with no "real" cigs. Took me a bit to get off of them entirely. At any rate I hear there is night and day difference between blu and ego-c but I'll just have to wait until mine arrives. I still plan on using my blu in car and at work...just the ego-c at home when I want a more realistic smoke.

I've also found a you-tube videos on how to refill the blu cartridges (much cheaper than buying prefilled). I currently have a 32mg x 10 sampler pack that I have been using to refill. I think it's too strong for me and should have started a little lower. I have 16mg x 10 sampler pack coming in mail hopefully this weekend as well.

My main question is can I mix a few drops of the 32 and few drops of the 16mg into same cartridge. I would assume I can but wanted to double check. Also how much danger is there in getting a little bit on your hands. After I refill and put caps back on I probably got a few drops on fingers or palms. I usually wipe off with some dirty laundry and then go and wash my hands with soap and water. Should I always be wearing rubber gloves? Some videos do and some don't. I mean if I wipe it off quickly and wash my hands within 1 min is there really any health concerns? How many of the 32mg drops would I have to get on me before it is something that should be worried about? I also assume you get better at it with more practice so would expect to have less drops on me later on down the road.

Better to mix in a separate bottle and then top off the cartomizer.

Not really as long as you immediately wash with soap and water afterwards.

Mix them in a bottle, then fill the cartos with that - especially if mixing two flavors, they won't blend well in the carto if you try to mix them there. Just an FYI, mixing 16mg and 32 mg 50-50 will get you 24mg.

As for getting a drop or two on your hands, well that depends how sensitive you re to nicotine but, for most it isn't a big deal. it off ... soon as you can.

Personally, I only wear glove when I'm mixing my DIY juice - have to when you're working with higher concentrations of nicotine than are safe to vape. Just refiling my tanks, I don't wear gloves.
