Hey Everyone!

This is stupid question I know, but I can't figure out how to fill the cool carts / turbo carts as much as I can fill the regular premium carts.

The premium carts have that little plug that goes in the atty, so you can fill> spin> fill and get a bunch of juice in the carto.

The cool/turbo carts don't have that plug, nor will the plugs even fit in the atty. So If I try to do the fill > spin > fill trick... it's just messy with lots of juice running right through the atty and out of the cart.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I find that with the new cartos, the taryn spin is pretty much useless now.

Using a small tool (a paperclip, etc), use it to push the batting towards the center of the cartomizer, thus allowing the juice to fall to the bottom. You should just have to do that once around, then top up...good to go.

Hope that helps.

:)

The spin method is a little too involved for me. I've found that you can get the same results from pulling the cap off and dripping down the side. You need to do it slow and wait for it to absorb between drops. The trick is to let the top remain dry the longest so the air has a place to escape. Also fresh carts seem resistant to filling, but after you've filled it a couple of times it soaks right up.

Here is what I do for the first fill - I take a cover from the old style cartos - the kind that doesn't have the plug in it. Fill about 2/3 full of juice (I don't bother counting, when it's full it's full). Then I take the mouthpiece out of the cart. 1st I push the battery end into the little cup/cover and let the juice soak in. I usually let it sit for a minute or two to soak it all up. Then, I'll take the last couple drops from the little cup/cover and drip those into the open mouthpiece side. Put the mouthpiece in, wipe the battery end and your good to go.

To top off, I just take the mouthpiece off and drop a couple drops down the sides. It's much easier than the fill/spin/fill method for me.

And here is a related question: Does anyone else sell the V4L coolcart / Vapor9 Turbo type cartomizers? Is there anything I can look for to determine what type of cartomizer it is?

Yes, they're starting to pop up from other vendors; Nhaler has the 'megas', Good Prophets has their 'GP1', etc. The thing to look for is the ohm rating; these cartos have a higher ohm rating. I've seen them listed from 3.3-3.5ohm's.

I do this with all carts, cool or regular. End cap filling is just too messy.

Thanks so much, just the info I was looking for. So how do you like the wetbox?

No problem. My switch is dead on the Wetobox but when it was working it was nice. Seems like the switch is the weakest link. It'd be best to periodically clean the switch out w/ WD40 or deoxit. If I get it fixed I may try to seal it somehow; sealed switches are too big for the box.

So, coolcarts and turbo carts are the same thing?

Question:

Are you finding these in stock anywhere? (GP has waaaaay too many links to get to a specific product and didn't notice any description or specs at their site. Is there another way to tell if they'll fit KR808's? I even saw one that listed the cartos as only fitting the mega KR808's, also with no specs. Is that even possible or do you have to contact them first?)

OT - are these both US companies?
