Since I've upgraded to the ego yesterday and started vaping at 4:00pm I have yet to have an analog (woohoo)

But here is my problem. I do NOT want to share. I can tell my husband likes the way this vapes. I don't want to give him my second ego...lol What if my battery dies. I don't have a third battery back up...I do not want to use my old ecig...lol

We can not afford another ego kit. So I'm thinking of just ordering him the no box 510 from cignot. I really want to help him kick the analogs also..He will use the little ecig we first bought at work but when he comes home he lights up... uhhhggg driving me nutts...I keep saying to him you know you keep spending money on ciggs when vaping is so much cheeper...Stubburn man he is.

I read that the 510's are compatible with the egos...That is just the atty's correct? are the cartomizers compatible also???

Yup :) The guiding principle is that the eGo battery is a super-sized 510 battery. Really super-sized if you get a 900mAh one (standard are 650mAh). So, 510 attys, LR 510 attys, 510 cartos, LR 510 cartos etc. all thread and work on the battery just fine. The ginormous eGo mega atty/cart combo or the mega eGo cartomizers that are designed to be used without the cone would fit on a 510 battery (as I understand it) but would look pretty silly. Other than that, your'e good :)

If your hubby is near a power source often...I might recommend something like the 510 Sit and Go Passthrough....it's about $13 depending on the vendor, has a regular 510 battery that charges continuously when used as a PT. It's my workhorse. And the USB plug is exactly the same as for a number of electronic products - my digital camera and my graphing calculator used the same plug. So, i've got a plug for the computer and one in my car and I just unplug the battery when I leave the house and plug it into the cable in my car.

Hope this helps :)

Oh, and you might do to keep track of his spending on analogs and *very nicely* illustrate how quickly he spends enough to afford vape gear that would last a while and reduce the stinky coughyness factor ;)

Thanks for the info... I'm trying to search venders for the best prices on batts and atty's that ship from the U.S. any suggestions?
I'm trying to really show him that vaping can be real inexspencive as to smoking... He keeps nagging me on how much I've spent... I had to tell him I've saved 20.00-30.00 bucks so far not buying ciggs :)

If he's not real concerned if it looks exactly like your eGo, there is the Hello 016 carto kit from MadVapes. It has a huge battery (1300 compared to the 650 of the eGo, 750 of the Riva). All your atomizers, cartomizers, cartridges, and drip tips will fit. On the downside, there is no separate cone available for it (the cone for it comes with some kind of built in atomizer that has gotten mixed reviews). But for the battery life alone, this would be great.

Hello 016 Carto Kit

Price is always a factor. Not sure how much you guys are spending on smokes still, but I just look at it this way.
Typical kit = $50 - $80
1 Carton of cigarettes - $50 - $80

Which lasts longer and which is more healthy? When you look at it that way vaping is not that expensive.

(I agree though, I wouldn't want to share either!)

Vapor Junction has Riva parts. I think the battery was $14 and a cone $6. It is the same as an Ego.

I did too until I realized the whole kit was only a few $ more. 50.60 shipped with code.

Yep, I agree here, Vapor Junction is cheap and fast.
Like Pav said, it's the price of a carton... maybe he would LOVE a present!!

Just cut da crap and get him a 3.7 boxmod from Ken at Box Mods 27 bucks
then go to ValueVapor.com and get him some batteries and attys from them,,

I do really hope he'll come around... He did want me to show him today how to charge the battery....So I showed him how to take the ego appart. lol funny though I was watching him like a hawk putting it back together, making sure he didn't cross the threads..lol I also showed him how to top off his cartridge, so he doesn't burn out my atty.hahhaahah

Maybe try him on one of the Li'l Sisters. He can use your atomizers and stuff, but because it's variable, he'll get to satisfy his manly imperative and fiddle to get the vapor to just the spot he likes it. I think the Li'l Sister is only about $70 (although I don't know how much a battery and charger would be), so it's about the price of a new eGo.
