I'd take a ProVari over the Ego but otherwise; I'm with you on that.

Well, I had that one but I realized at some point that it was over-kill for the purposes that I used it for (and to me the vape was of no real difference). And seeing as I could have about 10-13 eGos for the price of one ProV, I switched it up for in lieu of economy. But, that's not really the point, it's the vape from our little friends that is most important. I love these little guys. Always have and always will.

Just an FYI to all those that have ever posted in this thread: I still have not used anything that has satisfied me like a regular ol' 510 atty on an eGo (Spinner). Even after I've accumulated a lot of expensive, high-end, uber-complicated, cloud chuckin', stupidly-high-wattage-havin' gear, if I had to choose between ALL of it and enough eGos and Cisco Spec atties to last me a lifetime, I'd choose the latter. Granted, I love all my gear and have loads of fun with it, but there's a but!

Cheers.

p.s. To the mods: thank you for not closing this thread.

ha, I'm the same :) and yes, a big thanks to the mods, would hate to see this thread closed!!

Ok, fine. Let me amend my post, in that case.

YOU da MANN! :D

And long live 24mg. I'm somewhat fearful that anything over 12mg is going the way of the

I dunno Mr. Mann. I was pretty certain that nothing would upset the 510 or 306 throne for me either. But I have to say, this Crown tank, .5 ohm coil @ 40 watts is bringing out notes in my Calypso that I can only taste on a BRAND NEW 510. Granted, it is doing it with the help of sheer VOLUME of vapor, but it IS doing it. Now that said, If stuck on a desert isle, I'd still go with the 510, only because I couldn't POSSIBLY have enough juice to keep this tank filled unless the surrounding ocean itself was ejuice. I think NOTHING will EVER beat the "fuel economy" of a drip atty.

I think that is part of it for me too. It's not that I don't thoroughly enjoy and love the vape off of the other stuff, but the ol' school way is just so simple. I am still on one CS atty from last year and it took me even longer to go through one 30 mL of eliquid (but I was using unflavored a lot). And then there's TH. I am, have been and always will be a sucker (so to speak) for traditional TH. So I can use high nic and vape a whole helluva lot less, have less clouds hovering in the house, real TH and a discreet set-up that doesn't require gassing like a souped-up Hummer racing up hill!

But notice, the things that pull me to the topic of this thread are not really about flavor. So in that respect, I do agree that if you really want to experience high-definition flavor, the new school has it in spades, so much so that I've even diluted some liquids because the flavor was practically blinding (if that makes sense?).

@Mr.Mann

My last order for the Customs was $24.99 a piece. I had a feeling these might be coming down in price at some point. Unfortunately, perhaps a little too little too late. I can rewick this Petri clone faster than I can place an order for a 510 drip atty, and it tastes every bit as good as a brand new atomizer but bigger clouds. I was afraid this day might come.

Yes on the too little too late. I am surprised they didn't go a bulk deal of some sort, or maybe not bulk per se, but something like '3 for 50' or something. I dunno, even that is a bit over-the-top in today's market. I could take that same $50 and get 300 mL from Ahl on my recently expired upgrades. The value of a dollar in the vape world has really changed, yet some prices out there have yet to reflect this.

I guess we ran out of steam. I wouldn't have thought there would be that much to say about something so simple that just plain works. But, look at how much we've said already.

Dripping on regular 306 atties is what got me through when I started. It's the most simple, reliable method available. Period.

anyone still selling 5 packs of 510 or 306 at a discount?

i have a lot of RDAs but like using the disposables for both tasting and when i'm too lazy to wrap a coil

http://www.greenhouseone.com/LR510-Bridgeless-Atomizers-Pack-of-5-p/lr510w.htm Note: I have never ordered from them or used their product, but it's what I found.

http://vapesinfinity.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=113 These look like those three-hole dripping atties and I didn't have luck with the two I tired several years ago, but maybe these are decent? People used to rave about them, but I think they have a high rate of duds (as with most of these types).

And of course this price--$1 per--can't be beat: http://www.vaporkings.com/Joye-510-or-Joye-eGo-replacement-atomizers-p/510-atomizer.htm (Thanks, @clnire)

Just a blast from the past for 510 atties--this was from before he had that meeting at the crossroads!
