Hello,

I was wondering how many times you guys refill your regular cartridge (foam, 901 or 510) before you throw them away...

I've been using mine for a little while now cause I didn't order enough in the begining... and now when I want to fill it, i can only put one or two drops before it floods and then can get like 5 puffs of the cig before i have to refill again...

How long do u guyz use your cartridges?

If you're using the polyfill that comes with stock cartridges, you'll need to learn to work them (gently) like a sponge: drop water onto a sponge laying on the counter and it won't soak up much, but if you squeeze that sponge, then slowly release it while pouring water onto it, it soaks up much more.

So, drip some onto the filling, squeeze it gently, then drip some more. Rinse, lather, repeat.

To answer your original question, I usually refill mine for a couple months before needing to replace the batting. That is usually because I screw up and run them dry and end up burning the fibers, which gives an ongoing bad taste IMHO. How many times is that, I could not say, but I'd guess a few hundred, since I tend to vape all day (no rhyme intended).

I've had good luck (if I'm not cleaning out the cartridge or batting) by just using a pushpin or paperclip to shove the batting all the way to the bottom of the cart, filling with liquid until it's almost full, then pulling the batting up through the liquid until it doesn't flood or pool.

That's exactly the technic I use, and since then my old cartridges work better, I also sometimes take the foam out and clean it under clear water, dry it in towel and put it back, after that it's like "new"....
