coil reading differnt 1.5ohm - 1.8

What did you put the coil in? A dripper? The most common solution would be to tighten and make sure the screws are snug that hold the ends of the wire. If these are a little loose it will fluctuate. Also make sure the dripper is fully seated in your evic. Start with those and if it still doesn't work let us know.

    For rbas and rdas, the wires are probably not making good firm contact with posts. Ensure good contact and tigten screws.

    For kanger bccs like t3, evods, protank, etc, the legs may be curved and not straight. The end result is a coil which has a higher resistance when cold.

    While I have my rda on my little resistance checker I will flick the side of the rda. If the resistance flickers (and it usually does), I will tighten the screws until it doesn't.
