regulated mods

here's something a little different...maybe.

anyways, i was surfing through the pages of the forum and keep seeing all these various threads on mech. mods or certain model specific vv/vw mods. here is my question, of all the vv/vw mods out there which one would you rank as the best and why? i'm currently vaping on an mvp 2 and have a kamry x6 as a backup(although it doesn't get much use) and i'm wondering is there anything better? I.E. more power/wattage range, more options to build my rda's on. I'm not looking to go full mech. as i like the consistency and safety of the regulated mods plus i don't plan on sub ohming. I keep my coils around 1.5 to 1.8 range. the mvp2 just doesn't really like dual coil builds as they take several seconds to heat up and vaporize anything. I am feeling the 11 watt/5volt limitation is really holding this mod back from being perfect imho.

TL: DR - looking for suggestions on a better/higher power regulated mod than the mvp2 without going full mech.

I also have a MVP2 and was thinking along the same lines. Maybe a Sigelei 20w at about $120 ? Gotta buy the charger and batteries but 20w! I believe some other iTaste V/V have a few more watts to them but not that many. Using a KFL at 1.8 now, but would like to eventually go lower ohms with a dripper and more powerful mod.

Have to say i love my Lavatube V2.5 its great and well worth the price.

The important factor, when you are using 1.5 ohm heads is having an APV with a high enough "amp" limit. I would not want anything below 4 amps and it would be better to have a 5 amp switch. The Vamo has a 5 amp switch and I believe the iTaste SVD does also. Otherwise you can run into amp limiting issues.

yes, i thought about the amp limiting as well, the mvp2 limits at 3 or 3.5 i believe. would like something with a little more head room.
