Hi. I quit last August using a Kr808. Then I got an Aloha mod and fell in love with 6 volts!!!! Unfortunately, I forgot to use the master shutoff and burned it up. I ended up being fixable (I just had to buy a new flashlight like the one they use for the mod, and switch out the switch...), but in the meantime I tried using my Kr808s and all of a sudden the cartomizers tasted like I was smoking a pillow. I couldn't handle it and I ended up buying a pack of analogs. I know that analogs should probably turn me off worse than pillows but they didn't and I fell back into it. I tried to quit again, but it just hasn't worked yet for me. I really want to start vaping, so I don't know why it is so hard for me to do it. I think I am ready to try this again. If any of you out there have had relapses that you got over please let me know I am not the only one.

PS I am not going to even bother with the Kr808's anymore. I now own the aloha, a riva kit and a mini vapestack.

Mare,
Same thing happened to me about 2 years ago. I was still smoking while vaping on/off untill the newwer products started to become available. Well after about $2,700-$3,00 later I have been totally off analogs for about 2.5 months. I am still in search of that sweet spot! I am close now with a Map Tank 2.6 ohm ce2 and VV @ 4.2 volts. GOOD LUCK & dont be afraid to spend $ & try new products!

I haven't relapsed or been tempted. But, that first week was a little rough and i wasn't sure I could do it. It was just the habit of smoking that was hard to break, not the nic. I had enough nic from vaping.
I had bought a 510 and an ego. The first thing I did was de-wick/de-bridge an atty, slapped it in the ego, and then dripped hard-core for a week straight. Nice vapor, lots of nic at 24mg, and it gave me something to do. After a week I settled down and knew I was fine. I even tried the 510's after a while, LOL.

My humble advise: Vape like there's no tomorrow. You'll eventually eventually settle into a routine and wont even think about analogs. Good luck, and just keep trying!
