Great! Just ordered 6 of them and it came out to $43 after shipping. Not bad for a great battery. I think I'm going to go ahead and buy the dna Releaux now before I change my mind again haha
Have fun with it, remember to sign up on the site I linked above also, there is a facebook group with hundreds of people as well.

They send out either 25r or LG HE4s that's what they have posted anyway I got mine a while ago, both being 20amp batteries. If you want to go really low I'd go with the VTC4s.

Here is great site with authentic VTC4s for 6 bucks each.
18650 Sony US18650VTC4 2100mAh High Discharge Flat Top - Batteries - Batteries, Chargers, and PowerPax Carriers

They'll ship out the free batteries either way, maybe you can use them as an extra backup.

I'm really regretting ordering from these guys. My Reuleaux will be here tomorrow yet I have no batteries and these didn't ship out yet. I emailed them earlier, but haven't heard anything back. Have you successfully ordered from them before?
It's going to suck staring at this thing until the batteries arrive.

From Illumn?

Yeah, ask around on the forums. They've been selling batteries before there was even such a thing as vaping. Lots of people around here use them. If you bought the DNA mod from VapeNW you'll also get a free set of 20amp batteries for free no need to put anything in your cart. That might help you vape until they get there, shipping from Illumn is typically 3 days to me in NY.

Don't just take my word for it though:

Believe me Illumn will not rip you off, they've been around for YEARS.

Alright cool. They must have something going on then. I wanted to use some money I had in PayPal to buy the Reuleaux so I bought it from a reputable eBay vendor so no batteries for me sadly :nah:

I'll just wait it out. I ordered the batts on Saturday and haven't had any order updates. I do have six VTC4's that I use with my Sigelei, but if I were to put them in the Reuleaux I would have to add a battery to the married sets of two which I'm pretty sure isn't good to do.

They may still be backed up on orders from the holiday weekend.
They also ship from the west coast so chances are they might ship out today still 3:34pm where they are.

For the record if you ever need to contact them they provide their full address and a customer support number, this isn't a fly by night company nor would I ever recommend one.

Business Address:
Illumination Supply LLC
774 Charcot Avenue.
San Jose, CA 95131

We are able to answer the phone Monday through Friday from 12PM-6PM PST. If you cannot reach us by phone, please email.

Great thanks. Didn't see the phone number, but I did email them. If I don't hear back from them tomorrow I'll give them a call when I get out of work tomorrow night. Trying to figure out if anywhere locally sells decent 18650's. You're close-ish to me, any stores that sell them?

I DIY my juice now so I no longer go to vape shops, but the shops around here that I've been to sell rewrapped "subohm" batts for almost $20 a piece! It's crazy. I've been seriously thinking of starting my own shop with reasonable prices. That's why I started selling my juice.
I'm actually a big north of Boston on the Pelham, NH line. I heard a new vape shop opened up in my town so I'll check there and see what they have. I was mainly wondering what main stream stores might sell them, like Battery Plus or Radioshack or something like that.

Wismec needs to recall the DNA 200 version. $150+ for a mod that you have to fix as soon as you receive it? I'd second guess even getting the RX version knowing that.
To be fair I had mine for 3 weeks before I even did my repair and it worked just fine. the Fire button doesn't pinch the cable it merely slightly moves it. On the other hand I'm on my 3rd day of heavy vaping off a charger.

Its like you're trying to justify the problem. I mean, its a brand new device and it has to be modified to improve its longevity.

Not justifying anything, to me it was money well spent. The "fix" took me 5 mins to fix with a toothpick and I get better battery life than any other mod I've ever had. Problem is in the eye of the beholder, what maybe a problem for you might only be a slight nu-sense to someone else.

Problem is when I have to take a mod and drill out a 510 or a battery doa, tucking a ribbon cable is hardly a major issue, especially if you like to be off a charger alot. Try any other DNA 200 including lipo mods then try a Reuleaux, night and day I'm more than happy with it and that's all that matters. :p

Tell me about it! I've been using boring box mods for years and am beyond excited for the DNA 200 Reuleaux.

I'm last. What needs to be fixed on it? Mine was delivered a couple minutes ago but I'm still at work.

You'll want to check the ribbon cable just to make sure it's not moving when you press the fire button. I wouldn't do anything as later models are reported to be fixed but you should check just remove the 4 screws and look under the panel. Push the fire button if the cable moves when you press down use a toothpick to tuck the ribbon cable so it doesn't move anymore close it back up and enjoy.

Honestly, don't do the fix until you know if yours is effected by it, I've heard more reports of people doing damage to their displays than actual devices that stop working. I've heard of 2 early production devices have the issue, yet alot of people on Facebook are bricking theirs because they don't do it right. So unless you KNOW it's going to be a problem ignore it. You're also covered by a 1 year warranty so any screen damage will be covered by Evolv as long as you don't go in and try the fix yourself.

Great that's good to know thanks. So I got it tonight and couldn't help, but pop in an extra battery so I can use it. I have two sets of married VTC4's that have 100% equal use in my Sigelei. I am OCD about rotating batteries daily. I know it's not the best idea, but I'm only vaping at 50w and the batts are identical and have about the same hours of use in a single mod. My firmware was flashed on Dec 7th so I'm guessing this might be a new one?

I called up Illumn last night with no answer. Called them a couple minutes ago and still no answer. No reply to my email. I'm bummed about this! I would cancel my order and place an order elsewhere, but if they aren't seeing my emails, they aren't going to see my request to cancel.

Download the latest firmware and settings file from:
Reuleaux DNA200 Setting File with Latest Evolv Firmware Launching - Wismec Electronics Co.,Ltd

Install Escribe
Take the mod and plug it in to the PC, wait for everything to download...

(Do this part after not before plugging in the Mod)
click on file > open > <wherever your Wismec downloaded settings file is>

Go to the Mod tab, click on watt-hour calculator, it will ask if you know the total voltage say yes.
Battery cell Capacity type in 2100, nominal voltage should be 11.1

Next you can do a full battery analysis overnight or I could save you 24 hours and give you a discharge profile from another VTC4 user, see attachment.

After you download the csv file go in escribe: Load CSV > <wherever you put the CSV file you downloaded>

Now your mod understands your batteries alot better and the meter makes more sense.
The current firmware I have is the same firmware on the Wismec site.

At this point click on File > Save > and save it wherever you want (this is your settings file backup)

After this you pretty much can mess around with themes, profiles, etc...
Make sure you have a good backup first with a battery discharge profile that matches your batteries.

--------------------------------

As for Illumn, that's really weird I've never had to contact them but check your e-mail maybe the spam filter? I've never had problems with them, LIKE EVER!

PS: IMPORTANT! Rename the file attached from .txt to .csv the site doesn't let me upload csv files.
