Anyone remember their last smoke?

As I've stated, my last cigarette was 10:33am on Jan 3, 2015.

I have to admit, there was a small part of me that felt like I was saying goodbye to an old friend of 27 years. A friend that was ALWAYS there for me and never let me down.

But this 'friend' was killing me.
I had developed a cough in the weeks leading up to my switch. It scared me.
There is (thankfully) no history of cancer in my family but that did not mean that I couldn't get it. That scared me too.
Since switching to vaping, I DESPISE everything and anything to do with smoking cigarettes. I hate the smell and especially, the taste.
About a month after switching, I bummed a smoke from a friend as an experiment. I put it in my mouth, lit the end, took a drag and wanted to puke my guts out. I put it out and have not had another.
vaping is so much more fun and the wide variety of flavors is so exciting.
Now, while I've stated that Steamjunk's Ghostberry is my true favorite, that does not mean I don't vape other flavors.
After all, variety is the spice of life, no?

I felt different when I quit about 2.5 years ago because it felt more like conquering an evil enemy that plagued me for many years. I knew the consequenses of smoking plus all the ashes everywhere, cigarette burns, the smell, coughing, gagging, etc.. Who needs friends like that? lol Best of luck to you on your vaping journey!

I had a cigarette the other day of a friend just for fun I didnt enjoy it at all and smoked about three drags and put it out. What did shock me (apart from the foul taste and smell), was how little smoke came out when I breathed out. I think I've just gotten use to blowing out big clouds from vaping instead of the little thin whispy dirty looking clouds from smoking. I found the cigarette thing very unforfilling and downright horrible. I soon grabbed my mod again and thought "thats the last cigerette I'm ever bothering to try".

I can't recall the exact day of my last cig. It was about four months ago. But I can recall the experience and how gd awful the thing was. I, like you, had a best friend of 15+ years that was slowly killing me. His name was camel light. Always there for me in the best and worst of times. I did hang with some of his well known associates too, like Marlboro light, Pall Mall, parliament light and American Spirit.
I am so happy not to be in the presence of these losers anymore!! My new friends kanger and sigelei are so much cooler!
I will have to see about steamjunks ghost berry, thanks for the tip.

I was the same. I wanted nothing more than to get that taste out of my mouth.
