A heartfelt thank-you to all servicemen and women.:toast:

We heard a Silver Star mother speak on closure at our local Legion's
Remembrance Day dinner last night. Hardly a dry eye in the house.

In closing she stated that the Remembrance Day Ceremonies help to bring some closure for the families
of the fallen.

If you are able, get out and show support by attending the ceremonies at the Cenotaphs and Legions
today. Thank-you.:vapor:

A special thanks to those who have defended our lands honorabley as well as defended the lands of those less fortunate, with respect and dignity. Lets hope our Canadian forces always act compassionately as peace keepers and never imperialistically for political and corporate gains.

Today as every November 11th My brother and I make the trip to Wendake, the home community of our people since the early 1680's. There we honour the First Nations men and women who have served and gave their lives for others.

Unfortunately, today we did not go as the freezing rain made the roads on the way an unwise journey. Nonetheless we remembered which is what this day is about. I congratulate and thank all of you for that act of remembrance.
