Remove hot glue

I read somewhere that a hair dryer can be used to soften and remove hot glue. Can I use that method to remove the hot glue holding a dna40 chip screen to a mod without damage to the screen?

Very carefully, possibly. Depends how "mushed-in" the hot glue is. It is possible to cut through hot glue with X-acto knife or the like. Be weary of the temperature if you go with heat to remove it.

So not advised on the screen? Never mind i was able to pull glue off...thanks

Rubbing isopropyl alcohol will soften hot melt glue. If it doesn't damage the screen you could use that as well as heat.
