Out of curiosity why do you want to remove the lock pin?

Mine would inadvertently become locked with use. The button's orientation on the device makes it very unlikely that it would fire in a pocket, so I do away with it.

does someone have a link for removing the locking pin?

The one time I extracted a locking pin, the button became warped and wouldn't travel smoothly within the enclosure. It took some filing and sanding to get the black plastic back to a shape that would move up and down freely.

Now I file as much of the pin away as I can (without filing the button, of course) and push the remainder in with a heavy gauge sewing needle.

It bugs some people because it locks itself. Rob said he was coming out with a new locking system for future reos though. Not sure when.

yes my first Reo this rarely happened. my new one seems to happen more often. it barely needs to spin to lock.
