So my nose is back! and not in a good way when it comes to my car. Any ideas how to get this out? Air fresheners are just not cutting it and I'm about to go clean it out really well. It's been since last winter since it's had a proper cleaning... which is bad because I used to work in car rentals, cleaned my car "professionally" once a week!

Also, any idea for laundry... I'm thinking that a cup or so of white vinegar would do the trick but I'm hesitant because of the strong smell of that.

Oh, and whatever works for the car probably should be used on the couch and other unwashables. Fabreeze! Just do your job! -fail- ... not strong enough.

Funny that we used to smell like that. I have a friend that my wife and I tried to convert (unsuccessfully) to vaping, when she comes over she smokes in my garage (because we did not smoke in our house, or our cars because we have kids, and the smell) and after she leaves I cannot belive how long that smell sticks around. I was talking to my kids about it, and they had to remind me that that is exactly what my wife and I used to smell like. Thank God, and V4L

LMAO,
I know, I have tried so hard not to be a O.A.N. (old analog nazi) Its only been 2 months analog free for me and I just cant belive how much better my sense of smell has gotten, as well as how bad I must have smelled. However my kids keep reminding me, I think they just keep reminding me so I dont go back to analogs.

I hate that smell. I had to wash my clothes and pillow cases. It was in my curtains, walls everywhere!! STINKS! I can smell a smoker instantly. I can smell if a smoker has recently been on the elevator. When I smoked, of course I had no idea what non-smokers had to deal with. I can hardly have a face to face conversation with a smoker. I start gagging. Why it's so hard to convert these .....s is beyond me, but they can stay out of my house or borrow an ecig while visiting. It's just GROSS! Course I don't get on a soapbox or act superior or any of that obnoxious stuff, but man oh man, it does stink!! I'm like "here, try this, it'll save your life and it is more satisfying than smoking." They must think, "No thanks Max, I'd rather get lung cancer or heart disease while giving my money to tobacco companies." I'm like, "OK, groovy. So turn me on dead man." lol - because I'm like that ya know? Friendly and easy going... :p (i dont have any friends anymore and even my dog ran away)

Miiaaah May... er, kinda like mariah but mya, may... hope those help LOL though your pronunciation is good too :D The name is something I've used for a long time. The original idea is that the Maiah is the "first name" and mae the "middle name" so to speak.

Thanks for all the tips guys! Vinegar is working well on the laundry stuff, car stuff is getting a pet cleaner on it for the time being but after it dries and in the next few weeks, if it's not gone then I'll be seeking some of the purchased stuff that was recommended.
