Is it me or are the drip caps on those TV bottles unusually hard to remove? I actually gave up on my first attempt to take one off for pulling into a pipette for mixing and ended up just squirting an approximate mix of liquid and doubler into an empty bottle. Normally I just grip a cap with a paper towel and pull/twist the bottle, but for whatever reason, these caps didn't want to give. Anybody else run into this? More important, did anybody figure out a good method?

I carefully wedge a knife between the cap and the bottle and wiggle it up enough then use and tissue and pull it the rest of the way off
I destroyed a couple initially until a few posters gave me instructions. Once you wiggle a little space under one edge, you can shove anything flat in there to wiggle it up -- fingernail, file file, screwdriver, knife.
they are hard to remove for sure but place something under it and pry as someone else posted. works ok like that.
I do what Rose does but I grip the needletop in a papertowel or tea towel to get more traction lol.
I use the cap over the tip of the bottle to bend the tip to one side. That opens up just enough of a gap to get a findgernail in there. (I have long nails) It usually bends the tip just a bit, so forewarned.
